A bit of a rebrand with the crafting and design show.
Welcome to Royal Clarence, home of the Burning Hearts Bra and gorgeous quilts.

hello darlings welcome to royal clarence look i'm having a little bit of a rebrand because my life is so enrapt at the moment with crafting and making and it's i'm finding the whole experience such a beautiful one that i think i'm going to do a lot of podcasts about crafting from now on so i thought well look let's re-brand things and you can find out about my life and you know all the gossip um in another um in another way the book basically i'm going to do an online series for that so if you're here just to really hear if i'm still alive or not well i am still alive and apart from the compacted ear everything is going swimmingly but what i wanted to tell you today is a little sewing tip or a discovery a wonderful wonderful discovery for all the would-be

seamstresses out there now you know that i make bras now and i've had to start making pants as you call i don't know what you call them in america do you call them do you call them knickers or under underwear what do you call knickers in i don't know who knows i know we call them pants but do you call trousers pants so there may be some mix up here but i'm talking about lingerie that matches the brazier and so i've i've actually sort of crash course really in lingerie making of course i want to make lingerie that matches the braziers and
because i'm using recycled t-shirts and hand handmade recycled lycra which is made from plastic bottles actually how interesting is that yeah um because i'm doing you know this whole recycling thing i have to be quite creative about how i'm going to create the matching pant do i use four different t-shirts for example and i don't really want to do that because it you know the more time you spend creating your wonderful piece the more money you're going to ask

for it makes sense don't ever sell yourself short for anything that you make it's foolhardy to do that you're worth every minute that you spent at least charge the minimum wage okay and that's not including your materials always remember that if you're if you're in the business of crafting now i am um the crafting countess i'm the countess who crafts from raw clarets and i come i came across this pattern and i can explain it to you the wonder of podcasting the medium of podcasting take a rectangle and fold it in half so that it makes a square okay and on this square at the fold cut half a heart half a lover's heart okay and then remove the half-lover's heart open up the folded paper and now fold it the other way and you will have a pair of knickers now just try this with a piece of paper so fold it your rectangle which is two adjacent squares so when you fold it in half you have a square and you take your pencil your pen and you draw half a heart to to not to the edges you want let's say around about two inches i mean it depends how big you want your knickers but let's say let's say three inches

below the edges for your for the peaks of your heart okay draw your half a heart remove the half a heart open up the piece of paper you've got a weird shape now fold it in half the other way you've got a perfect pattern for a pair of knickers absolutely wonderful it's like magic this is witchy crafter's magic isn't it just i'm going to have such fun with this now if you can either um try it on an old t-shirt first of all um and you'd have to sew obviously sew those new edges and you can put some lace around if you want but but play around you're going to waste some fabric trying to find the perfect measurement for your rump okay if you've got a biggen you're going to need a bigger piece of paper if you've got a little in you're going to need a smaller piece of paper if you like pants that come right up to your midriff your belly button or higher you know some people like them really high my mum wears them...
