hey guys welcome to royal clearance marina updates now then i was given some very very strong medication yesterday by my doctor and i was zonked out really from the minute i took them um i mean fascinating isn't it that you can take something so small and then just sleep i slept from about i suppose 2 p.m by the time i picked them up and i mean i woke up to eat at some point but just slip right through until six o'clock this morning uh and i feel quite um it improved but and i feel deep down it's not a permanent change so i'm still waiting for another call from the doctor to talk about how we're going to

stop me ever getting a migraine again because i'll tell you what absolutely one of the worst experiences of my entire life and i've had many so my heart goes out to anyone who loves with migraines absolutely horrific um now what else well do you know what i'd bought some vinyl lately um really as part of the eco-fam project i'm a big recycler and i was organizing this massive um catwalk event actually in 2020 was it i think it was 2020 before just as the pandemic began really and my um my fashion show was a massive event with hundreds of people involved and designers and you know a lot of my own designs made from actually recycled clothing that people had donated and i remember

there was a lady who donated a lot of wedding dresses it was going to be absolutely swell and then the pandemic hit and even though it was an outdoor event it's an outdoor catwalk and we had our venue and everything it was a long hair and the merino was superb it was going to be an absolutely superb occasion and but at the start of the pandemic if you recall we weren't allowed to do anything um and we you know we weren't allowed to meet more than two well i think it was two people outside so my event was going to be hundreds was a complete no-no they didn't really understand how the covert 19 spread at that point so um you know basically we weren't allowed to do anything and so everything had to be cancelled which was terribly depressing for me as a an eco designer i was really excited about making these really avant-garde um costumes almost and i i even had uh shower

curtains i was buying up shower curtains from charity shops because i don't know if you know but shower cushions are fantastic in terms of the print quality and i bought one that had an elephant on it and i was going to make a mac a sort of um cape type rainmak that you would fold up and you know pop in your handbag and then unfold and wear it of course the downside with these things is you really when you're recycling something like that or upcycling you don't want it to look like what it was in the beginning so you wouldn't want to be walking down the road looking like you were wearing a shower curtain so i've been grab i've been grappling with these ideas ever since i mean for a fashion show it would have been great fun you know if you'd had 20 people wearing what you know are these sort of cape like things um that were clearly shower curtains but you know they mixed with a oh all right romeo that's my cat there mixed with um you know some like really

hardcore trance or rap music maybe and you've got all the people sort of marching down and perhaps a little dance thing because my models were all going to dance um it would look fantastic wouldn't it but actually in terms of the prospect of now what are you doing he's going to jump over the microphone again he does this every time there we go oh that was his tail there we go we're back to normal um so yes uh now as now that i've set up the shop online and you know we're trying to look very sophisticated one does try um the the you know what you don't want is to look like a shower cut and now you want to look um as if somebody's wearing a designer macintosh that you would never believe used to be a shower curtain and now...
