This is a series of 66 mini podcasts - to support you through a 66 day alcohol free challenge.

The challenge lasts for 66 days because that's how long it takes to change a habit.  

We have published an e-book called "66 days to sobriety" (available on our website https://www.tribesober.com) - this book contains 66 pages of tips, tools and motivation so I will read a page a day for these mini podcasts.

I will also update you on the healing taking place in your body and mind as you progress through the 66 days.


Be assertive!


"alcohol is the only drug you have to justify not taking"

As you progress through your alcohol free time you will find yourself under pressure to "just have one", "don't be so boring" etc..

You need to be firm and say no with conviction  - you're on a bit of a health kick and that's actually nobody's business but yours

Vegetarians don't get hassled to "just have a steak" - people accept they have made a lifestyle choice

Don't be a people pleaser - if you think it will be too hard to attend certain social events or family gatherings then just don't go

Make your alcohol free period a priority - there is no shame in leaving an event early - you came, you enjoyed yourself and now you have gone - end of story
