Most people have Colgate products in their homes, but few may know the story of William Colgate.  For episode 49 of the "50 Baptist You Should Know" Series, we will explore the life of William Colgate. From a young boy, William's parents taught him at least 10% of every dollar belonged to God.  This teaching followed him throughout his life. At sixteen, William left his parents farm to find work in NYC to find work. He found it working for a soap boiler. At that time, most housewives made their own soap; William sought to disrupt that.  He found a way to mass produce soap and scented it!
