Despite this, UNESCO data shows that less than 30% of all scientific researchers worldwide are women. As today is the International day of women and girls in science, we are shining a light on some of our incredible female alumni working in science. Coming up in this episode I talk to Evie (a trainee clinical scientist specialising in embryology at the NHS), Lara (A conservation Biologist) and Jess (A senior operational meteorologist at the Met Office). We chat all about what inspired them to go into the science, the ins and outs of their jobs and get advice for finding a career in this industry.
