Hi! We are Antoinette, Morgan, Nijmeh, Phaedra and Wallis. Welcome to “25 and Still Alive”: a series where, every Saturday, us women in our 25th year chat about stuff that we’re curious about together - from dating to mental health to art and beyond with one another and, hopefully, with some guest appearances. The five of us grew up together on a small island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and have since ended up in different parts of the world pursuing our careers, our educations, our lives, but we’ve always managed to keep in touch, stay curious, learn exponentially from one another, and, above all, stay connected and love each other unconditionally. Now, with the arrival of COVID-19, it seems that we’ve entered a time where our mastery of keeping in touch across vast distances through the digital medium can truly be put to use and, hopefully, we can share some of the space that we’ve made for each other with you.We, like many of you, are really aware of the need for community out there so we’re hoping to find ways to offer people opportunities to get involved in the process, whether that’s as guest appearances, or as a digital space where you can join us, or where you can chat with us online about the episodes or whatever else - we’d like to be there for you the way we’re there for each other in these weird, weird times. We are so, so grateful and mindful of the privilege we have in our ability to create something like this at this time and hope this offering is one that might be a spot of respite.
Episode 4: Skincare with Ante
What do we love? Glowing. Why do we love it? Because it means we're drinking enough water. But it takes more than that! And Miss Ante - aka our health, hygiene, cleanliness, glow-and-glamour expert - talks us through her coveted skincare routine.“25 and Still Alive” is available as a podcast wherever you listen to your podcasts @25andstillalive.
