Relatable and helpful
I really enjoy and relate to their stories and detailed accounts of their experiences and most of all the down to earth hilarity they find in all kinds of trail situations and it makes me wish one of my sisters would backpack with me šŸ˜…

August 2025 and I finally washed my tent
Molly and Carrie, in their podcast about thier Lake Tahoe Trail hike, gave us a major tip to wash our tents and lubricate the zippers (else they fail and won't zip). I appreciate that lesson learned. I've now prep'd my tent for my next thru-hike, something I would have overlooked had I not listened to their podcast. ** You two are the best; fun to listen to yet filled with very helpful facts and real-life experiences. Keep the weekly updates going!**

Epic banter and info
Just wanted to say thank you. For making this podcast. it’s easy to tell you both love the adventures so much. and have an epic knack for storytelling and going over each days or weeks adventure. I’m about to do the JMT and this was exactly the kind of podcast i was looking for. I can tell how much work goes into it. so thank you so very much.

Great beta on the JMT, and entertaining storytelling
I’ve really enjoyed these two sisters telling their stories about thru-hiking the John Muir Trail. I’m going to be hiking the JMT southbound from Tuolomne Meadows this August, so their information is very helpful! They’re fun storytellers and have made me laugh and smile as they recount their experiences. They have a relaxed, friendly style that wears well. I wish them many more happy adventures and podcast episodes! - Rolf Asphaug (trail name Kinnikinnick; previous guest on ā€œBackpacker Radioā€ and ā€œJester Section Hikerā€ podcasts)

I’m hooked
These two lovely women make me laugh and I’m learning some useful tips for the trail. I’ve backpacked extensively, but we can always learn new things, especially when it comes to new terrain and gear. Good stuff you two! I’ll keep listening!

Super Relatable (For Me, At Least)
šŸ’Æ recommend this podcast!! it was so helpful and enjoyable to listen to while i planned my JMT trip last year. it really helped me feel like i could actually do the dang thing! the JMT series was, of course, the first one and what brought me to their podcast, but i’ve also loved listening to their other adventures too!
