Wong Wee Man and Michelle Lim have been best friends for 16 years and are about to open up The Bun Club - a concept based bakery.
The idea stemmed from Wee Man's visit to his mother's country, Thailand, together with his family, where they would share Yaowarat toasted buns.
The buns to them, represent family and community, which is why the brand's motto is "Making the world sweeter, one bun at a time."
Adrian Abraham speaks to Wee Man and Michelle about opening up a business during the Covid-19 pandemic, their pricing strategy and where they want to be in six months from now.
