Fun Story, Great Characters
I’ve been listening to TSG since the beginning, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The characters are funny and real, and the story is killer. I’m relistening to the 60 episodes of s3 that are out so far, and I keep finding fun little nuggets that I missed the first time! Definitely add this to your playlist if you like good worldbuilding and engaging banter.

Great podcast
This podcast is exciting and thrilling I have listened to the first twelve episodes in the first week. It teaches you about d&d and it’s just fun to listen to. A family member suggested this to me and I’ve been hooked since the first episode. For anyone who plays D&D you would probably like this podcast. I like how the players combine their skills and magic and knowledge to win in fight and battle scenes and to try to help some new found friends take out the empire. The characters are really fun - the podcasters do a great job with them.

My new Go-To Actual Play Podcast
I was introduced to this podcast a little over a week ago and have already listened to all 10 episodes of chorus of the forsaken (as many as are currently out as of this review). I love 12 Sided Guys for a few reasons:
1. The shorter episodes that I can listen to without feeling like I’m missing out on visuals are much more accessible in my busy schedule than popular Actual Plays like Critical Roll and Dimension 20 that put a lot of effort into their videos and typically have long episodes
2. The worldbuilding is out of this world in terms of complexity and attention to detail
3. The balance of story and combat is great, and I am always very excited to start the next episode due to an intriguing premise
Although I’m late to the game, I’m thinking about starting Crystal Codex from the beginning (100+ episodes long) because of how much I’m enjoying this style of DnD podcast

Great storytelling, hilarious DM and players,
I employed this podcast to animate me while installing inanimate laminate flooring in my house. I was pleasantly surprised at how motivated I was after each episode to continue listening and continue with my flooring adventure. The experience made me feel nostalgic for the games I played as a kid. This is a smart, contemplative and most importantly, hilarious group of friends that helped make my project a breeze! Thank you 12 sided guys!

Fun and exciting!
I've been listening to the 12 Sided Guys podcast for a while now and it has been quite a ride! It is one of those stories that can go from heartwarming to hilarious, and then all the way back to nail biting anticipation, and even fear! (Nari Nat 20 Stormfist!) If you're looking for a fun actualplay Dungeons and Dragons podcast, this is the one for you. You can tell that the players are actually playing a game, not just tying to one up each other with funny bits, and the emotion is palpable, not forced. Highly recommended!

The Crystal Codex is fantastic!
The 12-Sided Guys’ Crystal Codex podcast is epic! Resembling a Dungeons & Dragons campaign at its roots, it combines elements reminiscent of dungeonpunk & steampunk but also includes a unique technology all its own. The podcast makes room for plenty of high adventure along with doses of classic sword & sorcery action. Personally, I find myself anxiously awaiting each new episode. It’s great to be able to escape into a memorable setting that appeals to my sense of humor while still frequently managing to have me on the edge of my metaphorical seat. A piece of fantastic fiction, the Crystal Codex does not disappoint!
