With two Heralds defeated, Nari & the Boys have turned their attention to the remaining three. Our heroes fear that their friends and loved ones to the north in the Glass Mountains may be in one’s path of destruction, having previously heard the voice of the Breath of Pavantis just outside Woodbridge. Is there enough time left for Nari & the Boys to frustrate Iramiel’s operative in that part of the world, or is failure inevitable?

This week we’re plopping Nari & The Boys down into a Random Saved Game! Our heroes find themselves in an occupied city desperate to escape the reach of an evil empire and before you ask, no this is not just episode 1 of Crystal Codex again. Joining us in this generation-defining RPG is our latest “Side Piece” Sarah playing a not-so-damsel-in-distress and the third former general in the party (for those keeping track at home).

With our heroes now a direct threat to her, Amavi has decreed, “Those who would fight against the Inevitable shall be wiped from existence!” Can Nari & the Boys survive the fury of a second Herald in as many hours?

In the tunnels deep beneath the streets of Almar, Nari & the Boys find themselves face-to-face with not one but two Heralds of the Angel Iramiel: Amavi, Herald of Mind; and Seros, Herald of Fire. Our heroes, already wearied from numerous encounters en route, can’t afford any missteps when fire goes on the offensive.

Nari & the Boys find themselves deep beneath the Cathedral to Iramiel in pursuit of answers to the mysterious dreams afflicting Almar’s residents. Our heroes are not alone, however, as those who have heeded the call of the Herald of Mind keep watch down here.

Nari & the Boys have been ambushed in the Cathedral to Iramiel, a once bright symbol of the Empire’s absolute control, now a neglected gathering place of the few remaining faithful. Our heroes suspect something important hides here given the symbols from the living canvas that adorn the cathedral walls and the ferocity of its congregants. What secrets will Nari & the Boys uncover should they survive?

Nari & the Boys see a familiar face in the market as they continue their investigation in Almar. The abandoned Cathedral of Iramiel seems like the logical next step, but first, Pine lays it all out there, Nari is good at talking, Rousse listens to his stomach, and Richter shows his sensitive side.

An unexpected guest ruins the mood, leaving Nari & the Boys scrambling to make necessary accommodations. Vague enough for you? Good! Also, Rousse strikes a deal, Richter knows what he’s doing, Nari worries about a friend’s job, and Pine swears he saw something bonkers.

While just trying to enjoy the music of Tedward (and Pender), Nari & the Boys find themselves in the Headsman’s sights. Indifferent to the hundreds of innocent bystanders in the way, Bartoz launches his assault on our heroes. Cornered in their balcony with no clear path to their enemy, Nari & the Boys must stop Bartoz and his men before they put any more civilians in danger.

Finally, the night of Tedward’s (and Pender’s) performance at the Dracia Opera House has arrived. Nari & the Boys spend the afternoon investigating the Gallery and doing some other things, but let’s be honest, you’re only here for Tedward. We don’t blame you.
