Welcome to the second part of our conversation on shadows.
We start by digging into our emotions using the 'emotions wheel' before doing our usual lighthearted trip into our unique and often polarised views on life.
We (Josh & Has) then go deeper into exploring our shadow sides, diving into the what they are and some of the work that is needed to begin to tackle them.
This leads us into the topic of the Collective Shadow - the notion of our societal dark sides.
Such a big topic that we almost ran out of time on again...it's definitely one we'll revisit.
Hope you're sitting comfortably...

We all have parts of ourselves that we don't like and try to keep hidden - these are called our 'shadow sides' and in today's episode, we (Has & Josh) dig into it.
In the conversation, we uncover what the term shadow side means and we explore where it might begin in our lives.
We talk about our own shadow sides and give a perspective on what we think each other's shadows (blind spots) are.
This is Part 1 of a 2 part conversation, where next time we'll dig further into it and explore the concept of Collective Shadow - the effect of people's shadows combining.
We hope you're sitting comfortably...it's about to get uncomfortable.

In this episode we (Josh Connolly & Hasan Khair) get into body image.
Research suggests that girls are more likely to be dissatisfied with their appearance and their weight than boys. In a recent survey, 46% of girls reported that their body image causes them to worry 'often' or 'always', compared to 25% of boys.
We discuss the increasing pressures on boys and girls both, but particularly around whether we believe the stat around boys is entirely accurate.
We explore our own journeys around body image and whether we would go under the knife to preserve our youth!
As always, a bit of fun around the big topics, but as we hope you now come to expect from us, lots of vulnerability and candour in this one too.

Welcome back to our first episode of 2024! In this episode, we (Hasan Khair & Josh Connolly) reflect on our big years ahead before diving into the controversy that engulfed our content from the last episode around Joey Barton.
We explore what happens when you unwittingly get pulled outside of your echo chamber and get exposed to the darker side of internet communities.
From there, we move into Dry January and delve into the practice of abstinence from alchohol. We discuss its value and the inevitable correlation to the wider conversations around addiction and overconsumption.
It's good to be back in the studio!

In this episode, we're talking about the fears we carry.
We first lightheartedly explore the UK's top 10 most feared things and some very weird ones (clusters of holes, anyone?) before diving into our own personal fears and why they show up.
We discuss ways we can begin to overcome our fears too.
It's scary stuff - we hope you're sitting comfortably!

With International Men's Day 2023 approaching, we go deep on the topic of men, feelings, talking and support.
The theme for this year is Zero Male Suicide. We discuss what leads to 1 in 4 men taking their own lives in the UK and explore some of the complexities of talking about male issues in the context of their privilege in the world as it relates to women.
It's a raw conversation and one we expect might garner different opinions from our listeners.
We hope you're sitting comfortably...because it's about to get uncomfortable.

Today, we talk about deep friendships and loneliness.
We are in an epidemic.
1 in 4 people in the UK are affected by loneliness.
According to some reports, the impact on loneliness on people is like smoking 15 cigarettes a day and increases overall risk of death by 26%.
The total number of people in the UK who say they “often” or “always” feel lonely increased from 2.6 million people in 2020 to 3.3 million people in 2022.
In the conversation, we explore our own friendship origins and how we have come to support each other. And then we go deep on the loneliness topic.
Today is raw, vulnerable and challenging...hope you're sitting comfortably.

We've put together a special episode of 115miles where we let our followers ask the questions.
No limits, nothing off the table.
We had some deep and meaningful ones
And some straight up weird ones.
You might learn more about us than we were ready to share...like what Josh does in the shower that Has doesn't... 👀
Lots of laughs and banter along the way.
We like this format and hope you do too...you know the drill...sit yourself down comfortably because it's about to get uncomfortable.

With the Tory party seemingly on the brink of a calamitous election defeat, Has began by saying how much joy and glee he was taking from the situation and the potential demise of some of he sinister players in the party.
This led us to the topic of 'schadenfreude', which is the pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune.
We explore josh's views on who he likes to see fail and more widely, what it says about us as a society to want to see 'certain' people fail.
Lots of humour and lightness around in today's episode, including the some awkward questions like "what do you do when it's only you at home alone"?
As usual, we hope you're sitting comfortably because...it's about to get uncomfortable.
