so i've pretty much finished now you'll notice there are little corners where's my finger there or oh all the way along there and in the crevices where the roller wouldn't reach i think that took about half an hour to do maybe a bit longer um really it's a game changer having a a roller like that really good now i'm running water to get the paint off because i want to reuse it so it's important to get all that out um it's quite back-breaking like you know bending and all that so i'd split it up into small sections if you've got any kind of disability you know it takes a lot to bend and stretch and turn and it's not it's not light it's actually really big um i'll measure it for you sometime i think it's about four four and a half five foot across so it's not you know it's not

a stool or a chair it's a big big old sofa thing you can get four three people in it on it um so the bits that i've missed that the roller couldn't get down i'm going to get a paintbrush i'll do it tomorrow when everything's dry because the other thing that happened as i was going over stuff with the second coat it would peel off the first coat if it wasn't perfectly dry so that was a bit you know of a problem so they're a bit patchy still but i'm wondering if if i mind the patchy because mum has this wax that you put on afterwards and just sort of rub it in and it just kind of protects it and makes it makes it look a bit more weathered and i'm wondering if i just put this wax on um that it won't be so brilliantly white that it looks like you know i just bought it

from dfs or somewhere and i'm paying it off you know that really clinically white over um i mean who wants that in in an artist's place where there's a lot of um you know other things other styles i don't i don't think that would work at all if it was just bright white it would really be obvious so i'm going to i'm going to get a brush when it's all dry and dab it into the corners and then perhaps rag it so just screw up an old rag or kitchen roll works and just kind of pat it and that should um make give the feel that it's a bit textured and then i'm going to put this wax on it that mum's got and then i think i'll talk about dressing and we might do that tomorrow actually we'll talk about the cushions what i'm going to do with them um i'm really pleased with it it's made the room look bigger you won't be able to see that yet because i i'm still in the

midst of moving furniture...
