good morning internet welcome to royal clarence and the four post bed i'm having a loungy morning but the rest of the day is going to be crazy busy so i woke up this morning thinking well the first thing is i've started having these incredible dreams really intricate um complicated dreams you know epic novels and i think they're quite helpful actually because obviously my drugs my painkiller drugs and i really do um wake up they say that they're just a sedative so you're not really having a good sleep but i tell you what i'm getting eight hours in and i'm very happy about it and i feel and i wouldn't say i could you know wake up leap out of bed and you know go for a jog i mean it's not that good i'd need other trucks to do that but it

certainly feels i do feel quite refreshed i have to spend quite a while um preparing the exit from the full poster which is why i always get back in it and besides i'm between two coffees i can't possibly um actually get out of bed until i've had three now it used to be two it's gone up to three now um but i've got nothing to you know get me out of bed for i'm not um a busy physical person anymore i'm you know a parent or and i don't have a nine or five or anything like that but of course the other thing i woke up today with was the sense that i'm now a video star as well as a radio star and i like that now you it may be that i'm i'm being rather optimistic because i've only done two videos but it it does make you this idea of self you know who we are when you start something new it changes your self-perception no matter how small it is so even the smallest you know little tick-tock video that smallest photograph that was in the

paper and don't forget when we do stuff on the internet now it's not just one person that sees it you know there are hundreds of people that see these images of ourselves and it really gives you a different sense of who you are and in my little goldfish bowl um my little world you know my small world uh i well how i feel is very important it's all i have isn't it it's all you have really at the end of the day all any of us have is the way that we perceive ourselves and the way that we understand that we fit into the universe it's a very very important thing um so but i rather liked it i definitely liked it and you know sometimes when i have a piano lesson it's a really good piano lesson really good when i'm teaching you know a really good um cello

podcast and i do i feel as if i'm yoyoma i'm a world-renowned cellist or pianist but i think that's human isn't it i think that's really human um of course if you've got imposter syndrome you won't have the pleasure of that you'll feel like you're faking it um but i think i'm too old for imposter syndrome now i don't i don't get it so much anymore um and i noticed actually with my mum you know when she sells a tea cozy she walks around the whole day look feeling like alan sugar

it's hilarious i don't know if you know alan sugar in in the usa he did that the apprentice program where he looks at everyone says you're fired didn't donald trump do it i think trump did it didn't he the american version um and yeah she goes around and i always find it a bit irritating i think god she's only salted tea cozy but actually now i see now that i'm a movie star i completely see where she's coming from and i i wonder if it is something you gain with age you become more confident maybe about who you are because we're all terribly important

aren't we i mean not just to ourselves we're very important to other people actually when you make a tick tock video um other people are looking at you and cheering them up usually on tick truck i find tick-tock quite uplifting or inspiring them or you're if you're a grumpy old man type...
