hello internet welcome to uh the crafting show um i we're setting up the tv station today so i'm currently um just getting ready preparing and making sure this you know things look nice in the frame as it were and but i wanted to tell you all about it but the other thing i want to talk about actually is um my podcast for the crafting contest oh can you hear romeo he's sharpening his claws sure i think he started doing that thing where you get um you know when children as soon as you're on the on the phone to your mate they start misbehaving the
minute you're on the phone they've been quite as nice and then suddenly because they want attention i think romeo started to do that have you noticed you always jumped up um to join in hello darling yes mommy's here so anyway um i've had some podcast issues today with um my

my podcast hosts rika so i'm just transferring things and we're going to use yes we're going to use a different streamer called podbean and i just think they're a little bit more um professional so we're going to transfer things so there may be some transitionary issues with uh you know getting hold of broadcast and things like that i don't think it'll happen for too long but if you're if you're an avid podcaster and you just want to listen to me warbling you can go to my

website and what i'm going to do today as well is put all of the podcasts onto a playlist so that you can hear them if you're if you sign up and you'll remember and i just think that's the way to go now is sort of memberships subscriptions and ad-free i think the ad revenue um model is really narrow in terms of you you you have no control over it so you don't really have very little control over the type of ads that your that people are um that the the streamer is implanting because i don't decide on these adverts um they're sort of chosen for me on behalf of

whoever it is that's hosting for me so it's quite kind of easy but um it's not really a great business model for us so you know crafting is much more i suppose intimate if you like uh you know we're passing on knowledge we're sharing things and i like the idea of a tv show much more for crafting than um an audio show of course it can work as a podcast but it it's much better to see things isn't it so i'm going to sort of create this new entity for the crafting contest who has you know who's more of a tv station than a podcast but all the audio files will also be available on youtube so what i'm going to do is you'll have a video and the audio from the video will be stripped and put on youtube so you can hear it but if you want to see it you'll have to sign up to my site so i thought that was quite the kind of work quite a good work

around so you get to hear me talking about stuff but you know i mean if you want more of me i think people are much more willing aren't they these days to to um to subscribe to something especially if it's a community and it's a really nice vibe um and i think um trey j fry is coming to the tv station as well um for for ballet instruction and some other things so you know this kind of women-led uh station that spreads knowledge in instills a wonderful message in people of um growth and entertainment wholesome energy and i think that's really what i'm very keen to do rather than i just looked at uh um listen notes it was listeners because i'm on listen notes which is where you can search all my episodes episodes it's like a kind of search engine for podcasts and um i put in uh one of my i can't remember which podcast i was looking at but i put in one of them and it comes up with an alternate list so alternatives rather so you've got

about you know sort of eight possibilities and i'm not even on the top and my own search and the and then the top ones who they automatically put up are pornographic ones and they've got a little thing next to it which says one top one percent and you just think oh...
