hello everybody welcome to royal clarence i had an absolutely splendid day yesterday now not only did i get my ear sorted so i can hear again which is just a wonderful wonderful um novel experience because i don't know how long i was actually going deaf for do you see because it creeps up on you it's very slow so i'm all full of hearing today which is going to be fantastic for my cello lesson so do pop over for a cello lesson later on i'm only going to do little bite-sized lessons on jenna and piano i think those are preferable because i think people you know they get a bit bored don't they with me rambling on um anyway yesterday darling so i have to tell

you it was the most wonderful thing i super day i had my ears done and then i went to um a couple of well three four five charity shops i think and do you know what i got unbelievable i got a pair of dolce and cabana boots they are totally splendid if you go along to my tick tock you'll be able to see them there but i'm going to do a proper um video later wearing them so you can see them properly but i also got now these were 650 pounds new can you believe that and i won't tell you how much i paid because well a lady never discusses finances but

suffice to know that they were 650 new and i'm so thrilled and they weren't they were new they weren't they were hardly worn you know they were donated so i'm absolutely thrilled thrilled to bits now i'm desperate to go out somewhere and wear them um i also bought a pair of white lace trousers flares totally see-through and obviously a woman of my ears wouldn't wear nothing underneath them so what i'm going to do is i'm going to um make a pair of shorts to go under them because they've cut they have knickers inside them but i wouldn't show all of my legs and they're not particularly flattering from the knee up so i'm going to incorporate or wear a pair of shorts under them when i wear them and then wear a long tunic over the top and they look splendid darling it's absolutely splendid i really feel finally finally now that i'm in

fashion albeit elderly fashion i do feel that i finally got my style back and i i did i haven't had a style that i like since well way before lockdown really since i moved from brighton now brighton was a very fun loving place it's a gay capital of the uk um lots of uh you know sort of people who dressed up bohemians and um transvestites and drag artists performers actors uh strippers you know burlesque dancers all of these people live in brighton and they perform in brighton and that really rubbed off on me because i was running a club of course it would rub off on me wouldn't it but i loved all that a completely over-the-top gendered dressing i really approved of it and it it um all of my buzzies were always um you know gay men who loved dressing up so i it sort of it gave me a a style that i was drawn to but that was easy to follow do you see what i mean so i didn't really have to think about it i just did do lots of wigs lots of

makeup lots of eyebrows lots of lipstick etc but since i've left brighton it's been it's been tricky because a you don't you know nobody dresses up like that at the marina in the marina it's all deck shoes deck shoes and rimmed hats in summer and not nothing else really of no you know jeans and a tee that's it desperately boring but that's what you wear on a when you go sailing you know um so it's been it's been quite hard and there are no venues here to worth dressing up for um so i i've sort of got out of the the habit and then we had locked down didn't we and i bought clothes in lockdown that i never wore and when we came out of lockdown i

sold i bought stella mccartney boots and they were eaten by silverfish in my cupboard during lockdown and they were ridiculously expensive but they were plastic you know there's plastic stuff so they they ate them and you know what silverfish like the glue that they like glue...
