The worried well at Royal Clarence.
hello darlings welcome to all clarence um i've got i'm having a toe drama today now my big toe is plagued by unfortunates it suffers with gout quite often and now both sides are getting a bit arthritic and when i went to london the other week and i walked from camden to uh wherever it was soho in a strop because the professor and his wandering hands had um upset me so i did a stompy off thing and i'd i had trainers on and you imagine don't you that when you've got trainers on you know they're not going to hurt your feet they're actually a bit tight around my toes so they pinch a bit but i've just got so used to it and i don't wear them very often only to cycle in really so um when i got back the next day my toe had suffered dreadfully under the pressure of chinese plastic trainers i was very upset about it i wanted to throw them away
actually the trainers but it turns out i need them for a bit longer um anyway i had some sort of injury and it's caused an infection in the nail bed and it's it's a mess darlings it's a total utter mess and it's it's being a bit lively as it were and i'm bathing it in um you know saline either saline or salt water and this is what i mean they're called whitlows i don't know if you know about this but i suffered with whitlowes well i've had them all my life because i've i'm a very anxious individual and occasionally when my fingernails get very dry because i'm jealous so they they're kept quite short but sometimes when they get very dry i get a hang nail and and i'm compelled to pull a hang nail out causing as much pain as i possibly can because the
feeling of satisfaction is just so great and then i end up with with what's called a whitlow and it's an infection it's it's when bacteria get into that space that you've had that you've caused at the side of your nail by pulling a hang nail out do you see and i googled because i've never had one on my toe i know what they are because i've i've always get them on my fingers um so i googled and of course google gives you the worst worst case scenario i mean it didn't quite say cancer normally does for everything you stub your toe oh it's cancer i mean literally google is the the cancer phobic um queen of the world king of the world maybe i should say um so
but anyway i looked up uh the toenail the the nail bed infection on her toe and it says you have to be really really careful because it can spread up the foot and up the leg now that translated to me as amputation i mean i didn't actually read amputation i didn't need to because i've googled that before and i know exactly that any sort of sepsis and infection can i watch these programs you know these rescue programs and they that's what they talk about an injury can easily lead to sepsis and death
so last night i was struggling around the infection and salt watering it and it was very lively as i say things were coming out and i thought well that's good isn't it but i've woken up this morning and it and it's very angry looking and i should probably stop fiddling around with it that's probably what's causing the problems um it's not not so sanitary is it so um today i'm i'm resting it it's it's like a beacon under the duvet it's shining a light a red throbbing light around the room and the pain oh the pain darlings um anyway i'll get over that um so what did i want to talk about i'm doing today i finally got my episode of my book up now i really do hope that you're reading my book the chapters go up every week um god willing uh if there's a bra
involved you know a bra designer it won't there may be a delay but um it's uh it's a lovely lovely story i mean i find it so exciting but let's just chat briefly about inspiration because i'd left it a couple of weeks because i was so busy with a bra launch and getting back into writing i noted that the longer you leave it the harder it is to get back in...
