Health matters and some gentle music for the post-Christmas mood.

hello darlings welcome to royal clarence it's been a while i i it occurs to me actually that i haven't broadcast for a couple of weeks and you know what it was so crazily busy here at royal clarence and the time flies by and you realize oh hang on i haven't made touch with people i should have made touch with but i was struck down i was very very ill due to i have a stomach complaint and obviously all the rich food and the alcohol really did affect me very very badly and yesterday christmas day and particularly i was very bad so unfortunately my

christmas didn't go to plan and i had to cancel events on boxing day so it's all rather upsetting and now my doctor has put me on an elimination diet so i have to i mean i had a coffee darlings because the prospect of starting the day without coffee is so agonizing and yesterday um because i knew that i had to give up i have to give up caffeine you see so i declined coffee after dinner um at mamas and then i well basically i cut my coffees down from about six today per day to

two yesterday and i had this blinding headache and i woke up today with the blinding headache again and i know it i've i've felt this before when i haven't had my morning coffee um it's excruciating caffeine addiction it really is it's a big big problem and i'm not sure which is worse the the fact that i have to give up wine or the fact that i have to give up coffee i mean they're both tragic really tragic um but you know obviously i'm going to i'm going to do it because my stomach was so so bad i was desperately sick so one just has to one has to and that's fine um but i'll be showing you know my progress because i need to show somebody

darlings um so i've had my one coffee and now i'm going to have to have a cup of tea the thing with tea it it's actually quite refreshing it does but it's lame refreshing but lame is it like somebody throwing water over my face maybe flicking a bit of water on my face so it sort of perks me up in terms of adrenaline or something but you know it doesn't have that innate pleasure that caffeine has the high octane um you know craziness that that you get with a cup of black strong coffee and i'm yearning already i can feel myself yearning um anyway i did get quite a lot done in other ways um new channel on youtube has just been launched sonia delamare frsa that's my new youtube channel and it's specifically for my music so i'll be doing live everyday uh broadcast video so i've had you know branch out into video and that in itself would normally require several coffees but alas no can do so um today i'm going to broadcast

i'm going to make five videos and we figure that this is just the best way to do things do five on a monday and then the rest of the week we can focus on the radio it's very hard being so multimedia it's all a bit all over the place but what i am doing i'm doing a bit of a cheaters thing i'm taking the recording audio i'm popping those up on telltale kids so you can hear the videos because you see the videos you have to pay for you've got to pay to um subscribe on the website and you know this this is the thing with modern life isn't it you can't do things for free um if you want a career so money it is um so yeah that's good i mean i i did really enjoyed it i do there there is something when you teach the you know the wonderful art of cello playing the wonderful art of piano playing there is something about being seen that feels lovely and

i've relied heavily on the podcasting but of course it's it's much easier to see how somebody's holding a bow than to here although you can actually you can do that but you have to be quite experienced right so what have i got for you today the bersus by chopin we'll we'll do that and i thought oh i've been making all these christmas carols for the past month and i you know the time has gone...
