Always a fun podcast. Humerus and informative

I look forward to this podcast weekly, but please for the love of god get the audio under control. Steve sounds like he’s underwater half the time, and the worst part is that the volume levels are all different. I have to turn up the podcast and then when commercials come on it about blows my eardrums out.

I love listening to these people who are smarter and funnier than me. Lucretia is always right! John and Steve are the perfect balance to her Genghis Kahn approach to destroying the left.

A terrific, insightful, podcast packed full of incisive, rapier like analysis focused on the most pressing,(and bumbling) litigation issues of the current week.Professor Lucretia, pay no never mind to those Nattering, Nabobs of Negativism whom are unable or incapable of perceiving the elegance and superior clarity you express when dissecting an issue. Professor Yoo and Mr. Hayward are the Best. Thank You

Great show ! If someone told me there is a podcast with two college professors (all conservatives)and a lawyer. All three are very bright and the topics are very entertaining but often take legal aspects into account. Lucretia is the best and love her take no prisoners approach. Listen every week and look forward to the show. Highly recommend !

This podcast after many years has become unlistenable because of Lucretia. I’m sorry to say I have to unfollow and will search for Hayward and Yoo elsewhere

“Lucretia” pointing out that Obama’s wife is “butt-ugly” is almost as bad as Limbaugh comparing poor Chelsea Clinton to a dog. I have enjoyed this podcast (especially Yoo and Hayward) until now, but I can’t in good conscience continue.

Yoo is great, but I just can’t stomach Lucretia any longer.

But I love listening to Steve and John Yoo and the snarky comments from Lucretia. I wish they would invite Progressives on their show to debate controversial topics.

I never miss an episode, I owe my newfound intellectual and conversational brilliance to this podcast, and to the several others linked by host/participant or ideological sympathy.

Near perfect. Related, my eldest son at age 14 went to a Red Hot Chili Pepper concert. Why? He asked his mother and not I. Anyway early Sunday morning, before church, he comes bounding out of his room wearing a “Mr. Dogg” t- shirt. I immediately asked him what he paid. $20. So after pointing out he couldn’t wear it around me, to school, to church or around anyone I knew, he sold it to me. What I didn’t know was that he bet all his friends $20 each that I would confiscate the shirt. And, and, he knew I would ultimately forget about the incident and much later found the shirt and took it to college. And I’m with Lucretia, drinking peaty scotch is like eating a salad constructed with bull nettle.

Lucretia doesn't seem to know how off-putting her blind Trumpism sounds. I understand that her heart is in the right place, but her viewpoints are just so fringe, that the people echoing her talking points are actively losing the GOP very winnable elections. I think it's time to find a better female perspective for the show. Her analysis on the Kevin McCarthy debacle was cringeworthy and embarrassing. If she can't see how bad this situation is, she does not deserve to be a political analyst on a serious podcast. Edit from Oct 14th: Lucretia said she liked RFK Jr "because he's against the Deep State." That's insane. Edit from December: Lucretia tried to sweep January 6 under the rug. Does she think that 9/11 was just some faked conspiracy with holograms? Edit from June, 2024. Lucretia really is certifiably stupid. She makes fun of Larry Hogan, who may be the only Republican capable of winning a Senate seat in Maryland. She really wants to live in a world where the Republicans have 25 senators, and never pass a single thing.

If this were a drinking game where we had to take a shot every time Lucretia said “stupid” or “idiot judge” we’d all end up like Bon Scott after 10 minutes. Brutal. Had to turn it off.

A great discussion highlighting the different viewpoints on the border crisis so that individuals can decide for themselves what is right.

Look—I’ll question the logic and organization behind a conspiracy theory but you guys are straight up wrong about the FBI—it’s rotten to the core. It has abandoned its fundamental mission and it is using technical tools against the American people. From the FBI investigation of Larry Nassir which was botched beyond belief to Jan 6th investigation to the Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot to concentration on white supremacist threat which has utterly no evidence to back it up. They are a political hack-show. Lucretia didn’t even bring up the best points in defense of her thesis. They are a lost cause

John: “Be not afraid” of all things bereft of government watchdogs. Lucretia: Hoping you’re writing a biography or memoir! And Steve: No matter what John and Lucretia say, I relish the ‘all things climate farce’ within discussions. Here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan you are all well respected for intelligent discourse and humor. God Bless.

I’d give this podcast 5 stars if Lucretia wouldn’t interrupt so much.

I thought adding a third “bartender” to the Three Whiskey Happy Hour would interfere with the chemistry of Steve and Lucretia, but I look forward to the episodes even more now that John has joined. The way these three interact is remarkably entertaining. I’m 30 and love the history lessons of them simply talking about their pasts.

I like the show but your discussion of the tanks is wildly inaccurate. Abrams has 2 crew members. Wrong. Ammunition is radioactive. Wrong. The rounds are depleted uranium. McMasters is one of the greatest tank commanders. Just wrong. He was a Captain in Desert Storm. Listen more to the smart lady who talks on this show and please don’t comment on things you know about.

Chicken Little has no voice on this show. The sky is not falling. Linda Lee Denno is Lucretia.

I like Steve but Lucretia is overbearing and constantly interrupts, ruining the show. Find it hard to believe that she’s a “fan favorite“. I am a 50-year-old educated female. I don’t disagree with her ideas, but I can barely stand her voice. She is so insistent and so sure she is 100% right, it’s off-putting. Poor Steve.

I was about to tune in for Charles Murray but then I looked up Steve Sailer’s credentials and opted not to. Giving voice to heterodox ideas is one thing but platforming a Holocaust-denying, scientific racist who writes a regular column for VDARE is several bridges too far.

I’m a longtime fan of Hayward’s work, and, despite some reservations about Murray’s second-rate understanding of genetics and other scientific matters, I’ve always defended his serious social science. But Steve Sailer should be beyond the pale. Why are “respectable conservatives” elevating VDARE writers? Powerline should be ashamed.

The hosts and their topics, humor, pace and guests are both enjoyable and educational. I look forward to this podcast as much as I do publication of the Week in Pictures.

Excellent podcast in general, but today was a special treat with John "McRib" Yoo. The trio delved into all manner of Supreme Court decisions, both good and bad, and had a lively discussion of all things law and political science. Along with Yoo & Epstein on LAw Talk and the boys at Ruthless, I look forward to each episode. Keep it up!

I never miss an episode of this gem of a podcast. The interlocutors are both brilliant conversationalists; I could listen to their banter and their serious explanations for hours. Best wishes to Steve on his recovery from surgery.

A wonderful conversation about an intriguing 5 person character study in the book Downeast. Steve & Ms Georges easily could have elongated this conversation but respectfully tantalized prospective book buyers with concise and insightful questions/comments. Positive, hopeful and enjoyable.

Top content is their analysis of Supreme Court decisions of the past. Please provide more of these.

I would be hard pressed to name a more enjoyable podcast. Love the give and take between Steve and Lucretia. I always learn something from these sessions, even when it concerns whiskey or whisky.

Finaly a touch of the conservative toes in the waters of this distinction. Brilliantly enjoyable; yet superficial for some. But unique. Who is doing this stuff? back in the day - Enthusiastically encouraged Krafhthammer Will Goldberg Hanson (just war) etc to attempt distinctions and influences re: Declaration preamble etc. IE between NL and NR. And how one flows out of t’other. Lucretia did this, then Hayward followed-up. Finnis et al implicit. But just so. Comment: Two distinct things; as a Thomist and Gilson type Existentialist - hey Hayward does anybody now know your distinctions? I swooned intellectually, hee hee. Search general web. Steve is smart and able to break down Strauss and Jaffa and historic concepts for people who are unfamiliar. “Lucretia ” is great.

So pay heed to our Washington Post columnist Henry Olsen. Your midnight nightmares of massive vote dumps for Biden are all within normal parameters and you can calm yourself, my darling, America’s election integrity is intact. Just ask Olsen.

This is a great podcast. Steve and Lucretia are an entertaining duo and any car trip goes by faster when these 2 are along for the ride.

I want to be adopted by Lucretia. The Lady of Intrigue upped her volume on this show, and outdistanced our lovely and self effacing host, Steve Hayward! Her most important message: We can’t assume that GOP leaders learned anything in the last 4 years. We push them, and Trump should push the Biden Administration into a very vulnerable starting gate.

The worst thing about this podcast is it’s only an hour or so long. Steve and Lucretia don’t apologize for being conservative and maintain a highbrow, wide-ranging conversation. Often, these conversations lead down into tangents that become more interesting than the original topic. Please make more/longer episodes.
