Cindy Bosch is a Registered Nurse in Cardiology. Cindy has been working as a nurse in cardiac care as a permanent staff member since October 1989. She was working at the Maz when it first opened.

She sees patients with all kinds of issues with their heart at various stages in their care from pre-transplant to post-transplant, heart attacks and heart failure. She has seen children that have grown up with congenital heart issues throughout their heart care journeys, as they grow into adulthood and continue to come to the Maz for ongoing care. 

She sees her job as making patients stay at the hospital better. She gets to go home after a 12 hour shift, but many of her patients don’t. She ensures they have as positive a hospital experience as possible.

She has seen first-hand how technology and techniques have progressed. Procedures that used to be invasive and could only be performed by a few doctors in the area and required ICU stays for patients after, are now routine procedures that happen multiple times in a day, and many patients head home the same day.
