Ali Nuri, author of Rain and Embers (2019) use poetry to explore his relationship with his home country of Iraq after being forced to flee in 1990. Now residing in the US, he tells Nouri, Hasnain and Ali of his journey in rediscovering himself through poetry and his challenges as a writer.
