On today's episode I chat with Michele Walter about how mindfulness can help establish more calm and equanimity, especially during a crisis. She has such a wonderfully simple view of what mindfulness is, and how to practice it daily, and she shared some tips and tools that will help you start today.
With 20 years of experience as a federal government attorney, a 3-time Ironman, and avid mountaineer, Michele decided in 2019 to shift to helping other legal professionals and athletes elevate their mindsets and commit to having the life of abundance they really want. The owner of Life From The Summit, Mindfulness & Coaching, Michele is a Certified Professional Coach through IPEC and in February 2021 will complete a 2-year Mindful Meditation Teacher Certification Program through Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. Michele combines these skills to coach clients from a holistic perspective to bring them more mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Michele also leads guided mindfulness meditations for legal professionals and is available to teach ½-day mindfulness workshops for groups.
