<p>As I sought input for talks to include on this list, the talk, "Beware of Pride" was mentioned repeatedly and is a fan favorite. &nbsp;In this talk, President Benson teaches about the nature of pride. &nbsp;Pride, at its core, is putting our will in competition with the Lord's will. &nbsp;It is especially dangerous because it can be subtle and difficult to recognize in our own lives. &nbsp;He sites many examples in the scriptures where pride was the downfall of individuals and nations. &nbsp;The antidote for pride is humility, a broken heart and a contrite spirit. &nbsp;It is aligning our will with the Lord's will. &nbsp;We can choose to be humble. &nbsp;Are there areas in your life where your will is not the Lord's will? &nbsp;</p>
