Loss & Leadership
A solo podcast honoring Pregnancy and Infancy Loss Awareness Month. All over, we hear people (including myself) encouraging others to "tell their stories". This episode is my acknowledgment of my own story of miscarriage and how it deeply impacted who I am as a leader, processing a traumatic event, learning to ask for help, and coming to terms with the fact that I will never be the same person I was before. Of the many things female leaders have to manage, loss of a child or pregnancy is not often talked about. Thank you to everyone who knew parts of my story before this podcast, who are learning more about it by listening, and to every woman who shared their experiences with me throughout. I am forever grateful.
