Class acts all the way around
Gosh, I miss Ed Bradley. He was so good at his work. Denzel’s comment about leaving some things to the imagination; so wish there were more of this in films. I’m first in line when Denzel’s romantic role arrives for my viewing. Thank you all for bringing this special episode to us.

Not my style
I watched the same episode 20 years ago. I don’t really care about the updates. I’m living the updates right now.

Fascinating show!
Couldn’t think of a better person & voice to host 60 minutes: a second look than Seth Doane! This show is a blast from the past as they revisit a new topic every week. Brilliant idea & execution!

Fascinating Look at History
I’m really enjoying the podcast, but I would love to hear the full interviews and at the end do an update on the subject. There is too much talking from the podcast host.

Great for History Lovers
I have listened to all the podcasts and loved them all. The podcast focuses on my interest in history. It allows me to revisit events of my youth and learn interesting new and missed facts. Is wonderful that we now can get a glimpse of the extensive 60 Minute archives. I am looking forward to listening and enjoying more Second Look podcasts.

Clint Hill episode
This was spectacular! Not only was the interview with Clint Hill so moving but the huge impact the interview with Mike Wallace made on Hill’s life was a great testament to the power of journalism.

Love it!
I love 60 Minutes so this is so exciting! I listened to the book banning episode. As a high school teacher I’ve experienced push back from parents about novels that we read in class. It was so interesting to hear that issues from the 70’s are still present in today’s society. Great job 60Minutes!!!!

Longevity
Only 60 minutes with its own longevity could properly do an comprehensive story of how SNL has nimpacted American late night TV for now what is 50 years of successful entertainment. I

More of this
I like it. It’s good to hear from producers, too. Can’t wait to do more digging into the archives. Also, the backstory of the process of doing research and pitching a story is interesting. More please!

Just play the old episodes
I was excited by the prospect of hearing some old 60 minutes episodes. Unfortunately, the host of the show is an annoying left-wing radical who apparently does not think that the work of great journalist like Maury safer can speak for itself. He feels the need to interrupt and add his unoriginal and highly predictable personal views, sullying the great journalism of yore.

Fascinating
The Banned books episode is incredibly relevant to today and I learned so much that I didn’t know before about the history of book banning in the US. I wish the episode had been longer - it’s so interesting!

Drifted leftward
Unfortunately, 60 Minutes is not the news feature program it once was. It’s now largely infotainment with a leftward tilt. I think many of the original correspondents would shake their heads at what’s broadcast today. Having said that i rarely watch it, and i dont know anyone who says they do. It’s go the way of other network “news” programming

You could crawl out from under a rock and see why this show dropped when it did. Taylor built her empire without politics and you couldn’t stop bringing them up. I only listened to 2 of them.

Treasure trove!
What a treat to listen to these gems and have Seth and team provide much needed context. 60 Minutes has talked to everyone so can’t wait to hear what comes next!

Archive wondery
The vault should reveal great wonders. The way back machine production and narration by Seth is going to be a fascinating journey. Especially in deeper global politics and more self critical revelations. Entertainme profiles are easy candy. Let’s see how non corporate pr can bravely be produced. Good luck.

A Review of "60 Minutes: A Second Look"
I had found every recording (or every installment) of what I had believed to had been this "60 Minutes: A Second Look" by the time of this writing to had been interesting, informative, and enjoyable.

Exceptionally well done!!
From my earliest memory going back to the late 1960s, I can’t recall a Sunday that didn’t involve 60 Minutes. Oh how we scrambled around, as the sound of the stopwatch clicked through the living room, to get snacks and park our fannies in the family room together. To be able to listen again to Walter and Harry, to Morley and Dan, to Ed and Mike, (and hopefully a few minutes with Andy?), to hear the voices of history from then and now, is like a dream come true. I’ve already listened and been pleased at the presentation of these first podcast episodes, and am certain all the rest will be just as riveting and important, as only the people behind such a venerable institution can do. Thank you!!

The podcast we need
I love the show and I’m so happy that they are doing this. I’m on the younger side so hearing these stories is amazing. I never heard them before so putting a fresh new look on them is just what I want to hear. Thank you!

An exceptionally good listen
This show hooks you immediately. The concept of linking today's 60 Minutes with the voices and stories so many of us grew up with is brilliant on its own. Weaving the reporting together to remind us that issues and attitudes don't change as radically as we flatter ourselves that they do? That we're provably a product of the past we all share? That's a next-level listening experience.

Content terrific but presentation needs help
The host feels like high octane TV. Dial it back.

History has never sounded so good
What a wonderful way to understand and contextualize these important moments in history. The host is also wonderful!

A great listen
OK, I’m biased because I work at 60 Minutes and am in the Book Banning episode. I learned something new from listening to both episodes. Kudos to the crew doing this.
