What a fun podcast! I have discovered that I like listening to people talk about old movies, and Anna and Grace are smart and funny and good at their research. They’re a little younger than me but they know their stuff and I enjoy their perspective from the musical/theater side. Plus I share their sense of humor! Don’t lose the cursing!

While I enjoy the movie musicals they review, they sadly make the mistake of looking at older material through a “present day” lens. Yes, we’ve come a long way since some of the these productions debuted and sadly we’ve still got a long way to go, but please put things into their proper context. They also are way overdramatic on very small things: there was one long rant concerning someone from the 1950s’ eyeshadow. A little perspective is required. Maybe once they mature a wee bit (eliminate the cursing a lot would be a good) and are more even keel in the reviews, the podcast will require a second look. ✌️

It’s hard to Overstate just how joyful this podcast is. I listen to it on walks, and I probably look like a maniac as I laugh so hard that I stumble. If you have any interest in musicals or even just old movies, you owe it to yourself to try this.
