Happy Wednesday and happy Pride month!!
Pride’s history dates back to the Stonewall Riots in 1969 and has become a growing celebration of love and awareness ever since. In today’s podcast, I’m excited to share my conversation with Northlander’s Michael Akiyama, Anthony Barnard, and Minga Torres as we discuss the LGTBQ+ community within the security industry.
Our conversation touches on unconscious bias, ways we can overcome it, and how we can make the security industry more inclusive, connected, and diverse overall. What can we be doing to better educate ourselves? How can we help others? What initiatives should companies be focusing on to be more inclusive?
As we recognize and celebrate the history of Pride, we hope this episode gives you new insight, perspective, and ideas for continued inclusivity within our industry.
