Recently ive been revisiting old shows I used to watch as a kid and as someone who likes to watch the Japanese subs to see the differences between airings it’s fascinating to find out why things were done or just how it all came to even be. Great podcast that dives into what feels like every role and position in the 4kids company and related companies and answers any questions you didn’t know you even had.

Even when I watched Pokémon as a kid, I was highly curious as to what it was like behind the scenes of the show. Who were Ash, Misty, Brock and all the other amazing voices? I wanted to know so badly what it was like to make my favorite show. Tara and Steve are preserving history with this podcast. Each episode is eye opening and interesting as I finally get to learn about the people who helped shape my childhood. Keep it going!

I grew up with 4kids like anyone else here. But as an adult I am so fascinated with anything and everything 4Kids! And this podcast is a great way to learn about all the ins and outs. Plus I love being able to hear from some of the more underrated actors and staff! Which is something I’ve wanted for years! 💜

I grew up with the voice actors and actresses from 4kids while I was first learning English and understanding it. I’m so lucky to know their work and to live in the same lifetime as them. All of you mean the world to me. It’s so fun to listen to their experiences, their feelings and personal thoughts on the shows they worked on. As a kid, I always thought their characters were actual living beings. They’re just so talented. <3

I grew up with 4Kids every Saturday morning and I love hearing stories from both the actors and producers of 4Kids. As someone who is interested in the animation industry as a whole (western and anime) this provides some amazing insight to the process and what it was like back then. It feels so good to hear the voices I grew up with once again. I 100% recommend this podcast!
