I tried to like this show and give these guys the benefit of the doubt. But after 1 1/2 seasons of them, I can’t. They are the most doom and gloom “fan” podcasters I have ever listened to. Even last year when the team was on a hot streak, they spent week after week worrying about what was going to go wrong. All they do is complain about the organization and coaching staff and the decisions they feel were made in the draft because “they” would have done things differently. It’s honestly like listening to a live thread of negative comments on X. They’re never happy. I recommend listening to Sterling Bennet on 49ers Access, he complains sometimes but at least he’s funny! Sorry guys, but seriously, a little more positivity can go a long way!

These guys are terrible. Don’t any insight or meaningful to say other than “I don’t know” then don’t have a podcast. Stay away from this as it’s waste of time.

Have been listening to the pod for a few years now and really like your insight and analysis. My only complaint is that the full pod gets broken down into smaller segments plus the full pod. Would be nice just to have the full pod and not all the repeat of the smaller segments. Keep up the good work. Go 9ers Eric jezierski

But this trey lance coverage is weird. You don’t get how trey looked bad in year three of his career and he got demoted. Raiders game was legit below his rookie year. Denver game was bad until the last two drives. You are making some wild statements off emotion and not reality. Trade was bad. Lance was bad also. He couldn’t beat out jimmy who he didn’t want anymore. The rest of the league knows it and we defended lance with … no snaps. Snaps don’t equal better play always

What a whiney, panic driven, glass half empty show. Just 3 dorks that constantly bring up “mistakes” made by the organization or the coach bringing up things to make their own point with no context, Al Sacco is by far the worst. Sometimes this isn’t so bad when there is logical thinking which clearly none of these guys have. We have a team full of super stars and a good coach and all they can talk about is qb drama because they team isn’t making decisions they would make. Sometimes they are in favor or a player and can quickly be really backhanded towards the players if their not elite. Try Haberman and Middlekauf or Damon Bruce plus if you want a good 49er content podcast, this one is not.

During Joe’s career you could take three steps after ball released and smash the QB. What makes you think he would be injured in today’s game? Brady played so long because he went untouched for the most part.

Okay if you want a “fan” podcast. Too emotional on a week to week basis. No real expertise and analysis is cherry-picked to support a given perspective.

I understand having unique options, but It felt like the host were just making thing up without any factual bases often time contradicting themselves. Felt like they were just screaming hot takes they read on Twitter

There is literally nothing insightfully about this podcast mostly uninformed speculation. This isn't to say every podcaster should be a Football savant, but jeez at least come off like you know the basics. Also stop regurgitating grant cohn for clicks its not authentic

This podcast is my trusted source for all things 49ers. When I want to know the truth about what’s going on with the team; I turn to Zain and Al. Rockstars!!

Easily the worst of the 49ers podcasts. Just guys who don’t really understand football making uninformed statements. Would give 0 stars if I could

Great podcast, do more! Great analysis. I’m personally not too interested in player interviews unless you want to hear, “gonna take it one game at a time, focus on what I can control, next man up.” But good analysis here for more sophisticated listeners.

Bad personalities to say the least. Have horrible takes and are not qualified to make any of them.

The best time to give this podcast a listen is during the off-season, when they aren’t handwringing and crying out loud about every little coaching/playing/GM decision. (Maybe they think they could do all that better?) Al and Zain claim to be a couple of fans, and it shows. (They don’t seem to have an agenda they follow.) But it’s the long, rambling, whining fussiness make this a tough hour to get through. Listening to hard analysis and critical evaluations about the 49ers/NFL is in a lot of podcasts, but these guys just complain 90% of the time, repeat themselves, and feed off of each other to make this particular pod equivalent to fingernails on a chalkboard.

No fluff or wasted posturing, just good Niner info. Great content, good guests with first hand insight.Thanks fellas!

I really like this podcast. Thank you for owning up to the comments about Foster. Those situations are really bad and everyone needs to listen to both sides of the the story before judgement is cast. Also you asked if you should stay with 49ers or branch out to other sports. Please just stick with 49ers as I don't live in the Bay Area and am really only interested in listening to the niners. Keep up the good work and go Niners!!!

There are podcasts on the niners that don't sound like reporters asking asinine sports reporter questions. This one does. I'm sorry, but I don't need a second of regurgitating exactly what everyone else is saying. Give the listener some credit, and talk about the game in more than just predictions, and worries, and who should get thrown under the bus. Teach lingo, and offer some insight, not "twitter coaching".

I love this podcast cause it shows you another side of the players. Great questions that these guys ask I'm always ready to listen to a new episode and keep up the good work fellas
