Another year, another rivalry week in the books! In this week's recap we’re going all the way back to our inaugural season to do a deep dive on some of the hot rivalries in last week's matchups.

With the first week in the books we’ve clearly got one hell of a season upon us. Some pretty typical results last week. Dangleitis takes out Sittler on my Face who couldn’t scrape together enough goalie starts. Vrana’s Banana squeaked out a win against MacKinnon me Crazy despite his atrocious goalie numbers. Prince Igor goes 14-0 for only the 4th time in the league's history against Tanknation. Boring. Some matchups on the other hand, what a roller coaster ride! In this week's recap we’re going through the most exciting matchups of last week. Lets go!

We’re just weeks away from puck drop and this week we take a look ahead and make some BOLD PREDICTIONS I’m breaking these bold predictions in to 3 categories - my Lazy predictions that will definitely happen, my Questionable predictions that have a 50/50 shot of happening, and my BOLD predictions that will happen despite the odds stacked against them!

This week I present to you the final recap of the Fantasy Hockey season. A story a year in the making to finally determine the champion of the 4 seasons Fantasy Hockey 2022 season.

An ode to all our fallen soldiers.

Amazing news last week as the NHL finally announced its plans for the Olympic-not-a-break, finally rescheduling almost 100 games. Yahoo finally blessed us with the news that the anticipated 4-week long week 16 matchup will be broken up extending the season by 2 weeks. This season is far from over it seems and the push to make the playoffs heats up with 4 teams sitting within 32 points of each other right on the edge as that gap narrows last week. This week, we look at the middle of the pack!

I don't think we've ever seen a week like last week ladies and gentlemen. We had 7 out of 8 matchups with a 6 or greater point differential which really widened the gap between first and last and caused the biggest shakeup we've seen in the standings since week 2. It seems like the NHL is largely back to a regular schedule and with the Olympic not-a-break just around the corner, and only 7 matchups left, this season is starting to get real for a number of managers. It's hard to just pick a few so this week we do a lightning recap of EVERY MATCHUP LAST WEEK. LETS GO!

Last week the largest struggle for most managers it seemed was finding enough active goalies to hit the 3 goalie start minimum. In all there was an astonishing 5 teams who did not meet minimum goalie starts last week surrendering all 4 categories. Some managers staved off the 4 losses by just being active and diligent on the WW with a total of 12 transactions involving goalies last week.
