Consistency is the name of the game in anything you want to achieve. Today, I talk about the concept of batching your work whenever possible to get ahead. If it’s not technology related, you obviously can’t batch your activity. Batching will help you stay consistent with posting every day. Now, if only I would actually do this! If you want it as bad as you say you do, ask yourself this question… What are you willing to give up for your goals? Today I talk about an 8 year goal (sports related) that I achieved as a senior in high school. It required extreme mental focus to finally achieve it! And obviously, a ton of time working on my game!

Today’s message is simple and it needs to be said. You only get one go around in this world, so make sure you are enjoying your life. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a time and place for business. Of course there is. You want to be sure you’re enjoying the process though…and not spending all day on social media because some guru said it was necessary. Enjoy your time on Earth as much as possible! You don’t want to be 80 years old regretting that you didn’t have more fun because you were too busy creating content for social media instead of making real connections.

When it comes to social media you can post about anything… Whatever you do, just don’t be one of these hucksters always pushing sales! You know the type. All they talk about is their offer. They don’t care about you…they just want to make a buck. It can be frustrating to figure out your niche and what you’re all about. If you’re in that situation, it’s more important to get consistent first. Quality will come…but not before quantity. Want to post more but don’t feel like you have much to say? Seems like fairly sound advice, right? If you’re contemplating starting a new project, but are hesitating because of how you think it will turn out…start immediately. You’ll never know if you like it if all you do is work out the pros and cons in your mind. You have to get out of your head and have the experience before you can decide for sure whether it’s for you or not. If you are working to accomplish big ideas, focus only on the process…and not at all on the results. Don’t take a day off either…I learned the hard way through this podcast…one day off can quickly lead to several weeks of inactivity.
