With all three at the G on Anzac Day, we compare our seating choices with Prowl Dog predictably coming out on top. We then apologise to Wayne, note Ross Lyon's toughness, re-ignite our favourite stinger, compare JD to Buddy and talk headbands, beards and mummys boys. All this plus a nod to the do's and don'ts of sledging.

Prowl Dog is off the Hawks! That's just one of the bombshells from this week's ep as T Rex fulfills a lifelong dream to attend Good Friday footy. We shake our heads at the Under 10s ruck rule, ask whether Richmond are the 'real deal' (Spoiler: They're not) and wonder whether the Dons can get through 'the wall'. The boys are BACK for season 2017. After a lost launch episode and a year off blowing all the sponsorship money, Drew Balls, T Rex and Prowl Dog are back at work to assess the AFL as well as themselves. Segments include 'you're boring me', 'that's a wowee' and 'coach under fire'. All this plus Donsporn, the 'next Western Bulldogs' and Ellyse Perry (?)

We review the upsets of Round 2 and wonder if J Hogan has a bathwater stitch. T Rex doubts his 'Showdown Slowdown' rule but is certain about Cotchin and the Tiges. This considered discussion is thrown out the window when Marco from Brunswick joins us and throws up a hypothetical that would have Geoffrey Robertson stumped

After a first round full of goals and crowds yelling for deliberate, the lads are back with a HUGE show. PD is a bit Max Rooke but still joins us on the line to remind us of his distaste for the Cats and his belief in the Hawks. T Rex is at it again in the crowd and tries to become a Fri night specialist. Drew Balls is not marching to the G and doesn't give the Dons a chance. All this plus the Pies on Travis Cloke, new entrants to the AFL podcast scene, do we need a female co-host and is Justin Clarke too smart for AFL?

The lads are BACK and raring to talk about the on-field action, so after touching on Dane & Clokey and Gaz & Billy (so to speak) we rip right in to season 2016 and round 1. We ponder who could play Hawthorn in the Granny, who are the 'bolters', why Daz Braithwaite is singing tonight and why Howee was so keen on Frisbee. This, all in anticipation for the 2019 Grand Final between Melbourne and GWS.

The lads preview races 5-8 at Rosehill and also give us some specials for Moonee Valley and Bendigo. Marco is refusing to talk about the gangland activity in Brunswick, but his sudden change in punting philosophy may betray this silence. T Rex disagrees with him on most choices, which always makes for an entertaining show.

With Lohnro's '04 win providing a stirring intro, our tipsters look to continue their strong punting form with a preview of Super Saturday. T Rex is in the booth again (causing DB to hark back to Good Will Hunting) and Marco is thankfully not having a sambucca for every mention of Palentino.
