I love that this podcast is so positive and up-to-date. Every week revolves around a trending topic and even though some of this touch on important, sensitive educational issues, the moderators keep the focus in a problem-solving realm rather than a blame analysis. I've also noticed that every episode cycles around ideas and actions that are within individual teachers' locuses of control.

Full of valuable information and insight. I’m relatively new to this podcast, but so far I love the frequency, the variety of topics, the length and caliber of guests. Please keep up the nice work. It is greatly appreciated!

These podcasts are great! It’s so important for teachers to be thoughtful and engaged in policy that matters to their work. Public schools and the students they serve are lead many of the policy debates of our time. Every teacher is also a voter. Make that count by staying informed.

I love the podcast on leadership. I totally agree with what they said about being told leadership is within you. I am in my second year of teaching and I felt the same way that someone had to tell me I was a leader. Great to know other people feel the same way as I do out there.

It's great to get to know the Arizona K12 Staff a bit better, but even if you have never taken a class from them (by the way, you should), it's still a great way to reconnect with the positive aspects of the teaching profession.

Nice podcast. "Seeing yourself as a teacher leader is the first step" is a great tip. More teachers could adopt that mindset and make an even larger impact at their schools. I think this podcast would be great for all of our new Teacher Instrcutional Leaders in our district.

Hi I am so excited to learn more around policy and practice from AZ's educators. What a great forum to present ideas and get involved in policy and practice in AZ. It makes drive time more meanigful the topics are relevant and meaningful.

I love listening to the podcast! It’s great to make connections with people that understand teachers and talk about issues relevant to us.

I listened to the letter grades podcast whilst doing something else. I think that's how most people experience podcasts. Parts of the podcast kept bringing me back. Like the bit about Catholic school and the letter grading a school. Having kids go to a low graded school doesn't doom them. Parents tend to believe their school is a good school. Which makes the others suspect. Except that parents whose kids are in D & F graded schools don't leave in droves. They double-down to help improve the school. I like podcasts that engage with reality in a positive way. Cool podcast.

As a teacher and citizen interested in ed policy, I've been looking for a podcast that combines these things. The previous ones I've listened to have ended, so I'm excited that the Arizona K12 Center has one!

I can always count on the Arizona K12 Center to keep pushing the conversation around teaching, learning and leadership. This podcast brings them all together! Bravo!

Teaching isn’t about lecture, but opening your ears and listening to the thoughts, ideas, and perspectives of others on the same journey. Learning is growing from those ideas and in bring them into real life application. Definitely a must listen to for educators and those who support education. Can’t wait for future pods!

Thank you for sharing your story, Kathy. I am often uncomfortable defining myself as a teacher leader, but this podcast reminded me about how important that role is. I am inspired to embrace it and to encourage other teachers to also take on this role!
