My goal this month is to reduce the shame and secrecy associated with mental health and also encourage people to seek help if they are struggling. In this episode, we will hear two different stories with individuals who were diagnosed with PTSD. 

Anthony Ortega is from Waukegan who now lives in San Antonio, Texas. He served ten years in the Air Force and was deployed 5 times in multiple combat missions. Anthony was diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, and depression.  

Gwen Nunez, has three boys, has a full time job, and is pursuing her degree in health science. Gwen was diagnosed with PTSD and is here to share  her traumatic experience due to domestic violence.
