Bernhard has finally regained his sight and rejoins the party. Enzorel has met a powerful deity. You join our group back in level 1 of the Tomb of Annihilation.

The group has been split up and trapped in a room with a flame skull. Burnhard has been blinded and retreats to the bag of holding to heal. Inari has teleported to a precarious part of the dungeon with Enzorel. Gren stands alone!

Previously on this adventure the party has been tasked with finding and destroying the soulmonger, an artifact of great power wielded by the lich Acerack. The soul monger produces the Death curse which has ravaged the land and is tearing the souls of anyone who has been mystically brought back to life, which in chult is wide spread! They have been searching the island of Chult for the lost city of Omu and have finally found it. You join them as they enter the first level of the dungeon.

Our adventurers have reached the Tomb of Annihilation on the Island of Chult. After adventuring through the land and fighting off zombies and dinosaurs aplenty, they have discovered the death curse is slowly killing all that have been resurrected using magical means. The culprit is an arch lich named Acerack who has possession of the soul monger to collect souls and rule the multiverse. Our heroes enter the first level of the dungeon and that is where you join us.
