This week in keeping up with the love song theme we are discussing "Swing Swing" by The All-American Rejects. If you grew up during the early 2000s watching FuseTV, VH1, or MTV you surely know this song. Coming from Their self-titled album released in 2002, "Swing Swing" was their first single.

This week, in our last episode about pandemics, we discussed the "Spanish Flu" of 1918. This pandemic was overshadowed by the "Great War" meant to end all wars. Meanwhile, World War 1 had the spotlight, the "Spanish Flu" quietly spread around the world. A century later and the comparisons from this pandemic and the current Covid-19 pandemic are too eerie.

Last week the H1N1 virus was no match for the Coronavirus. This week we discussed a rival with much higher numbers, the Bubonic plague from the fourteenth century. The Bubonic plague is infamously known as the "Black Death" and that is not a small feat!

This week, we discussed a virus from the twenty-first century. The "H1N1" virus, also known as the "Swine Flu", spread around the globe in 2009 and was classified as a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization.

This week the whole crew including Jo discussed the Columbian Exchange. A part of history that includes many diseases seems fitting in the current pandemic situation that the world is in. 

This week Yogi, Ish, and Omar discuss the infamous Stay on Main Hotel located in Downtown Los Angeles. Formerly named the Cecil hotel, this building has been the location for many murders and suicides since its opening in 1927.
