Come Back!!!
I found this podcast in late 2020 and I absolutely love it! I am the same age as Tim and Bob and I grew up in the Boston area, so when they talk about their college experience I have a very clear picture of the things and places they talk about. As a child of the 80’s this hits right in the Gen X sweet spot. I’m so bummed they stopped making new episodes. I wish them both the best and hope they come back to podcasting in the near future!

Children of the 80s: A MUST listen.
Fantastic podcast. The hosts are a great duo. The production quality is top notch. Very interesting topics and nostalgia for folks like myself who grew up in the 80s-90s. Keep up the excellent work.

These guys know their $#!%
Of the many things I love about this podcast, Bob & Tim's love of the subject--whatever it might be--is my most favorite thing. We live in a cynical world, as a 20th century film icon once said, yet this podcast celebrates the things we love instead of tearing them down. Which is not to say the guys don't take a realistic & analytical look at those things, and sometimes find them wanting. The show is fun, interesting, sometimes silly and always thought provoking. Also, I cannot oversell the soothing nature of Tim's dulcet tones. 5/5 recommend.

Really Good Podcast!
I’ll tell you how good this podcast is, I have no interest in half the stuff they talk about, and yet, I can’t stop listening! The both have wonderfully soothing voices, and a great dynamic with each other. In the silliest of subjects they extract some deep life meanings, and Tim, one of the hosts, has funny quips all throughout. I highly recommend this podcast. Great while doing boring stuff like cleaning or raking the leaves!

Tim and Bob discuss and analyze both familiar and forgotten pieces of the late 20th century. Their discussions range from comedy to philosophy and reminiscence.
Stop what you're doing and listen.
