Love these guys & their podcasts!
I really appreciate these two brothers for their genuineness and how they work off each other in a fun way. These two are real pastors who have a genuine concern for small church pastors, and this comes out in their dialog with each other, the topics featured and people they interview. They don't take themselves too seriously but their podcasts feature some seriously solid help and insights. Definitely one of my favorite podcasts of all!

Love this podcast
I’m an Associational Missionary for the Baptist Denomination. I recommend this for all pastors, not just smaller church pastors. Great insights! That’s guys!

What a great show!
I have been listening to this podcast for a couple weeks and I’ve downloaded dozens of the past shows; I love it. Very practical with great guests. The two pastors, I mean knuckleheads, are awesome hosts.

You should subscribe
While I'm not the target audience this is a great podcast for ALL. Hear conversations that help deepen understandings, learn about real boots on the ground people and provides a healthy dose of encouragement. Host banter is a spoonful of sugar that helps the medicine go down.

Wonderful Podcast for Ministers and Non-Ministers Alike
I'm not a pastor, nor in the realm of paid ministry at all. And yet I've found a multitude of benefits from listening to the show. While the niche is certainly on small-church pastors, if you're paying attention, there are lessons to be gleaned by Average Joe and Jane parishioners as well. Whether it's a tip on how to better serve your church's staff, a new way of thinking about a theological perspective or spiritual discipline, or simply a practice and habit that you can apply to your everyday life, Jonny and Jeff bring a beautiful balance of humor and weightedness to their show. The interview style is light-hearted, but also understands when there's a serious topic at hand. Two thumbs way up for the 200churches Podcast.

Great encouragement for pastors of small churches
If I could give it a 6, I would. This podcast provides excellent inspiration and encouragement for those of us in small church ministry. The banter between Jeff and Jonny is entertaining and the guests are some of the biggest in the small church world. Your Wednesday mornings will never be the same.

A Breath of Fresh Air
I found 200churches probably a year and a half...two years ago, and to say it's been an encouragement to me (as a pastor's wife), to our ministry and our marriage would be an understatement. The diverse guests they have from week to week bring a wealth of interesting topics to the 'table' as it were. There is a chemistry and a familiarty between Jeff & Johnny that make the discussions rich yet entertaining. To be able to know you're not alone in the throws of ministry life....it's a breath of fresh air. Hearing guests like Dave Jacobs, Karl Vaters, Dan Reiland, Mandy Smith, David Fitch, N.T. Wright and others, speak about kingdom living/building, presence, importance of a Sabbath and more open up the floodgates of discusison. To also know that 'hard' topics concerning ministry life are not off limits with these guys...that's exciting. To hear about the importance of things like reconcilation, saftey in children's ministry, women leading...far too often (especially in small churches), these are considered taboo things. But here, we get to enter into that discussion. Very encouraging. A breath of fresh air. Thanks guys! -Tresa Ryun

Don't overlook the myth of balance!!
Great conversation about how elusive balance is in the life of a pastor - or anyone for that matter - and how critical rhythm is! Thanks for this podcast. Strong helpful words.

Finally...a ministry and leadership podcast for the rest of us
I can't tell you what a breath of fresh Jeff and Jonny are. I listen to a lot of podcasts (found these guys through Carey Niewhouf), but this one is my favorite by far. I always feel less lonely, more affirmed and like my work matters after listening. Listen to EVERY episode if you want the same. :)

Great encouragement and source of thoughtful reflection on ministry in a small church.
You guys are blessing to this pastor who is serving in his first senior pastor position after serving 17 years as a youth pastor in larger congregations. Keep it up! We need this valuable and helpful resource. Thanks! Jimmy Wright, Pastor at First Church of the Nazarene, Manchester, TN.

The resource we have been looking for
What an encouragement! Thank you for putting together these resources that directly relate to our 200 (+ or - 100) church. I have A LOT to catch up on, but have not been disappointed this far. God bless you and keep up the good work!

Water in the Desert
I have not been able to get enough of the podcast, since I discovered what 200Churches is doing. It has been one of the most encouraging ministry resources I have com across in a long time. It is also one of the most stimulating and thought provoking ministry resources I have come across in a long time. I have thoroughly appreciated yours and your guests fresh perspective on the state of the church in the 21st century. It is a perspective that is needed; and one that does not leave the church accusing each other, but uplifitng each other and getting behing what God is doing in the world through bigger and smaller congregations across the globe, but most notably in North American and the U.S. I have greatly appreciated hearing Karl Vaters and his journey and perspective of the Mega-church/church-growth boom of the past few decades, and what that means for smaller congregations today. Thanks for what you are doing, and keep it up! I hope many others encounter what you are doing and receive the same benefit I have from it!

This is it!
This is, hands down, the best podcast I have found over the past three years as a pastor. These men are real, down to earth, and funny. Very refreshing to hear their perspective on things. One listen and you will see. Thank you Jeff and Johnny! God bless. Would love to make it to one of those Big Little Church conferences.

Small Churches, Eternal Impact
In a world where mega churches are all the craze, Jeff and Jonny are bring sexy back to small churches. These guys have a huge heart for pastors and lay leaders, offering practical advice and encouragement for those serving in small churches. While mega churches get all the attention, small churches make up the vast majority of Christians around the world. The small churches are in the trenches, reaching their local communities with the good news of Jesus Christ. Thankful for these guys and the insight they bring to the conversation. We need more podcasts like this, helping those of us who will never be in that small percentage of mega church pastors. If you are a small church pastor, Jeff and Jonny will encourage and challenge you, affirming your Kingdom impact and letting know that you are not alone. Give it a listen, I guarantee that you will be blessed!

Encouraging and Funny
If you're a pastor of a small church (200 give or take) you should listen to this podcast. It's always encouraging and usually brings some laughs. Good stuff.

Young and bi-vocational
I am a young pastor in my first couple of years of ministry and I am also bi-vocational. At my second job I spend a lot of time alone and it is awesome to be able to tune in to the podcast and hear from those with more experience than me and think about things before I get too far along.

Great stuff
Great podcast for all who are in ministry. It is practical and informative. It never makes me feel out of place but still engages me to improve the "small" church I am in for a Big impact in people's lives. Thanks Jeff and Johnny for your good work!

Need Encouragement?
These two guys do just what they say they will — they encourage pastors! I served most of my ministry in “big" to "really big" churches but I’m encouraged by their emphasis on relationships and their common sense and godly wisdom. At first I was a bit put off by their intro banter but then I realized they are just doing what they say — putting relationships first! When I listen to this podcast I do feel like I’m having a cup of coffee with some fun friends who will help encourage me.

Encouraging and fun
I always appreciate the very real personalities and the fun they bring to the podcast. Jeff and Jonny help put the size of my church in perspective and remind me that it is not selfish to be part of a church this size!

Thanks, guys!!!!
I have been listening to the podcast for roughly a year. I am slated to become the pastor of a United Methodist Church in June! Their average Sunday morning attendance is 12-15 people. No that's not a typo. The UMC has designated this as an important "harvest field" opportunity. I am excited to begin this journey, and I look forward to continuing to grow through the work you guys are doing! Thank you so much!

A MUST listen podcast!
When so many resources tend to treat all church ministries as if they’re mega-churches, it’s refreshing to know there are people who understand most of us don’t pastor a mega-church. I always gain valuable information and often listen to the podcast a second time. Jeff and Johnny are practical, encouraging, humorous and in the trenches alongside of us.

Good stuff… if you are a pastor or community member of a church with 200 people (more or less) this is very insightful podcast to listen to. It is easy on the ears, engaging, and thought provoking. For anyone in ministry that must also navigate ministry based relationships with older or younger people, this podcast is a must, in order to hear how both Jeff and Jonny (from two different generations of people) work together for the greater good of the kingdom. Keep it up!

Best small church pastor podcast!
Some people listen to rap some people listen to rock some people even listen to r&b when they workout... But me I listen to 200 church podcast! Keeps me thinking how to better my church, keeps me on my toes and keeps me humble at the same time. I'm a small church pastor in a small city(New London, CT) I started as a youth pastor with no seminary training. So until I get there this podcast helps me stay sharp. I pastor a small urban hip hop service, average about 40 but I love that I can use this stuff even for my urban church. I forward my favorite episodes to my head pastor all the time, I don't know if he listens but it's all good. It's funny and full of wisdom. I love the relationship you guys have. Thanks for everything you do! Keep up the good work Bros ;)

I just started listening a few weeks ago, but I am working my way through all of the past episodes. Keep up the great work!

They know what this is like!
I’m the pastor of two small churches, and I’m here to tell you that Jeff and Jonny are worth your time to listen to. They have great, informative guests, and a sense of humor. Better yet, they remember that there’s a lot of different people doing this job, in a lot of different denominations, including women like me. Thanks, guys, your podcast is one of the highlights of my listening week. (and I’m almost finished listening to all of the back episodes!) Darcy Knight Cedar Island-Sea Level UMC

Finally a podcast on ministry that a majority of pastors can relate to! The guest that they have are insightful and thought provoking. I have been encouraged listening to this podcast. I have also taken away ideas and questions that have been helpful in honing my ministry skills.
