I came to 20-Somethings-Doing-Nothing after listening to Carla Marie and Anthony and I’m so glad I started listening! I officially started making my way through their podcasts shortly after I turned 30 in November of 2020 and it’s just nice to listen to friends talk about important things and also some not so important things. Agreeing, disagreeing and enlightening each other on everything and anything as they navigate life. They make getting through my work days and housework enjoyable! Thank you both for being so open, honest and HILARIOUS.

I want to start off by saying thank you . Thank you for not making me feel alone through my 20’s which have been a hell of a roller coaster. It’s humbling to know we’ve gone through so many similar things together although at different times in our lives , it just makes me feel so close to you guys. From career endings to new beginnings , long distances , unemployment , heart breaks and heart gains , were United . Ricki , you encourage me to be a strong minded woman who shouldn’t ever be afraid to speak their mind . Jake , you’re building up my courage to travel alone , meet new people, become addicted to wine .... all the good things in life . I’m proud of you guys and great things will always follow the two of you .

I started listening from the beginning of the show because Ricki and I have a mutual friend that recommended the podcast and it very quickly became one of my favorites. When they came back from hiatus I was so happy because the things they talk about are just so relatable and honest. I love when Ricki and Jake debate on a topic because depending on the item I relate to one more than the other and I love the passion with which they defend their position. The shower thoughts segment is the best thing ever. I hope I get to meet them in person one day because I feel like they’re already my friends. 5 star podcast and 5 star humans!

I was so happy when these two came back from a hiatus. I honestly was fist-pumping in my kitchen. They make me laugh with their brutally honest conversations and banter and their friendship is so genuine. They talk about things that are real and important and also things that are absolutely ridiculous and the best way to escape reality for a little while. When I am feeling stressed, the best way to unwind is to listen in on a new episode. I’ve listened through pregnancy losses, the birth of my baby, and all the exhausting newborn days to the crazy toddler ones and yet I find peace and sanity tuning in. I wish I wasn’t caught up yet so I had more episodes to listen to. Love this duo!!!

If you’ve ever said “I could use a laugh”, “does anyone have any podcast recommendations?”, or “what should I listen to next?” - here’s your answer. Hands down the best podcast out there. Two friends talking about real life relevant topics! No matter who you are I’m sure there’s something Ricki and Jake will talk about that will resonate. These two have such great on air chemistry and work together amazingly. Their banter makes each other laugh and it’s contagious. The amount of times I catch myself laughing along and having to rewind so I can hear what they said when I was too busy cracking up is too much to count. Been listening since the beginning and each week I look forward to the newest episode. So happy they’re back and can’t wait to hear more!

Every week when the episodes comes out, I have to pause any other podcast and start listening them immediately. They always bring joy to my day when listening to them. They give realistic, awesome life advice. Friends who have honest conversations where they do not always agree and make me feel like I am right there with there. Thanks for brightening each week. I started listening to this podcast back in 2018 from the very first episode. I gotta say you guys grew on me and helped me get through work by staying positive, especially the work I do. I wanna say this podcast is awesome and I highly recommend it as well. It’s unfortunate that the podcast has come to an end and I will miss this podcast very much. I want to say thank you both for being so awesome and wish you guys good luck on everything!

This podcast is amazing. Jake and Ricki exemplify how live as a twenty something is. It’s a podcast that also shows the host in a normal light. The two co hosts talk openly about mental health, help fellow listeners, and teach valuable life lessons to this twenty something. If you want a podcast that is down to earth and amazing... LISTEN TO THIS AMAZING PODCAST!

I loved the episode with Greg T! He gave such great advice on relationships and marriage. Please have him on again and maybe some other guests from the big show.

I’ve listen to this podcast from the beginning. Ricki has a way to keep you engaged and always wanting more. Jake really means well just needs to word things better. lol jk jk He really brings a different perspective that the podcast needed from having a rotating door of female co-hosts. I do miss the other co-host would love for them to guess on the podcast sometime.

I have about 5 podcasts I listen to and this has moved up to my #1 favorite podcast! Ricki & Jake keep me entertained and their banter back and forth is great. I can't listen to these at work because no matter which epidsode, I always start laughing out loud. They've got great "co-host" chemisty and although I've never met them, I feel like they're two of my friends now because they let their listeners on their life and what they're going through but they also help listeners with obstacles that they're going through. Hands down my favorite podcast from the Elvis Duran family, and my favorite podcast overall! The podcast is so entertaining and is the highlight of my Thursday.
