Awesome, pure awesome
If I could rate 20-sided death any higher, I would. Since day 1, been listening to them and laughing throughout the whole time. It's also allowing me to learn D&D during the break between my own group. So, just want to thank the guys for creating this amazing Podcast and I'm rating this a 1,000,000,000,000 star out of 5.

Funny as hell!
I love these guys. Hilarious banter and great story. I just wish they'd release episodes more often, but I understand why they can't always do so.

Very interesting time killer
Great podcast to past the day at work. The gameplay is interesting and glad it's not a "rapid fire battle" campaign. Too many fights = not creative storytelling. Mr. Pickle is a great DM. He tells a story and does not chronicle a bloodbath. Keep up the good play fellas.

Great Podcast.
Doing an archive binge, and up to episode 20. I sadly never find out what is puppy.

This is one of the best D&D podcasts I have found. The guys know their stuff, both the players and the DM, and they create a world and adventure that is fun and exciting. Players started at level 5, so they are quite capable in battle. Battles are dynamic and never slow as the players maximize their powers to do astounding damage and crippling debuffs. Outside of combat the team is just as innovative. Episode 13 has them running around a town rolling skill checks to sabotage an event in their favor. It's my favorite episode so far!

Great, Super Great, and Above All Great
One of, if not the best 4E podcast around!

Quite awesome
This podcast is the epitome of how D&D is supposed to be played. Only one other group comes close to completing with 20-sided death. And that would be the gamers haven podcast. However I would say that each podcast brings something different to the table and that they are both superb!

Fantastic Podcast
Lot of fun to listen to while working. Episode releases get a little sparse during summer months, but when winter rolls around the guys seem to hibernate in the recording studio. Audio quality is excellent (in the later episodes). Unscripted comedy, the crew seems to jive really well with eachother. To the comment about racism and misogyny. Not sure I've seen the racism, maybe in-game Drow related racism but that's just a running in game joke and quite literally how the DnD universe views that race. I'd say it's all in good role-playing fun.

One of my favorite podcasts
Great D&D podcast. Players really get into role playing their characters. Great story and action with lots of laugh out loud moments. Audio quality is far about most other role playing podcasts.

Very entertaining
I haven't played a d20 game (or tabletop RPG in about a decade) but with this podcast I don't have to. I don't understand the mechanics of the system (I was done when my weekly turned to 3rd Edition) but these guys are so wonderful at role-playing and explaining whats going on that the mechanics are pretty much just part of the story. The GM is outstanding and I was completely blown away when he said in an early episode that he had only recently begun GMing. It may get a little slow and tedious when the dice are rolling during combat, but not so much that something funny isn't said in the meantime. Thanks for the great podcast!

satisfactory
Not bad, but it would be nice if the players/DM could tone down the occasional overt racism and misogyny. Otherwise good job!

Awesome podcast!
This is one of my favorite podcasts and I think most, if not all D&D or fantasy RPGers, will agree. As a gamer, I prefer to hear actual gameplay over theory craft or gameplay highlights, and 20SD delivers it without taking out the details. The cast is also very active which not only adds to the comedic and interest levels but also inspires me to want to play. It's nice to hear a group of guys who have fun while podcasting and reassures me their will be more episodes to follow. Check these guys out!

Awe-some.
I'm running a 4th ed DnD game right now, and I have an hour commute to work. I started listening to 20-Sided Death, and my commute is now enjoyable. Plus I'm getting inspired for my game. These guys are hilarious. Seriously. Listen to them.

Awesome way to make work faster!
I recently discovered the podcast and it is AWESOME! The guys have a great back and forth with the DM and are always coming up with ways to thwart his best laid plans. Keep up the great work!

Ding!
One of the podcasts that got me back into playing D&D myself. Combination of new and veteran players makes for a good dynamic as the rules get explained for the player as well as the listener. And who doesn't like an emo robot being used as an improvised melee weapon by a drunken dwarf?

DnD at its finest!
Great and fun podcast to listen too, plus the crew takes care of their fanbase!

Highest quality sounding actual play D&D podcast
These guys sound great! Most other actual play podcasts have poor microphone placement and annoying background noises, conversations, etc. This group knows what it's doing.

Fun!
This is the most entertaining D&D podcast out there. All the rest are dry and boring. My brother and I have caught ourselves quoting the podcast while playing our campaign.

Amazing.
I haven't played D&D in quite a few years, so when I decided I wanted to listen to some gameplay while at work, I knew it would be hard at first, because of rule changes. However, 20 Sided Death has newer players mixed in with veterans, which makes things much easier for me, as they explain newer mechanics and changes to rules. Not only that, but the DM throws in classic D&D monsters, much to my delight. Rust Monsters! Been too long since you see any of those. The players are having a great time, which leads to me having a great time, and they record it as they go, unlike some I've seen. All in all, this podcast is amazing. -Raptor, out.

Most authentic D&D gameplay
These guys are great. You hear the gameplay plus the side conversations just like in your own tabletop games. Plus it's nice to have your own NPCs in the campaign. Stride Theum can cure all thunder lice. :)

Love this podcast!!!!
I play D&D, and I absolutely love this podcast!

Really good 4e actual play!
Featuring both veteran and brand new players (not to mention a new DM), 20-Sided Death gives you a good feel for 4th Edition D & D. Throughout the episodes they manage to keep the action flowing without getting bogged down in mechanics. They also have an interesting story that the players and DM are creating together in their own custom world. Speaking of the world, they have several episodes that just focus on the world building process which gives some interesting insights into how they are doing it. This group has a lot of fun during the session but they still manage to stay focused on the game and the role playing which is always a plus in an actual play. If you are looking to get into 4th Edition or even an experienced player I'd definitely recommend checking out this podcast!

Like a perfect bag of mixed dice
I really enjoy listening to their sessions. They even intermix discussion sessions of how/why their characters had certain points of view. The guys have a great time mixing up the role playing, the 4E game mechanics and just goofing off.

A really cool D&D 4th Edition Podcast.
An excellent Actual Play Podcast for a newer Player to learn the ropes of D&D 4th Edition. Most of the Players in this game are fairly new to RPGs, but have gotten better with every game session. The "Live" Sessions, where they talk about the backgroud and story of the Game world are just as good for a new Game Master to listen to and learn from! All told, If you play or are thinking about playing D&D 4th Edition, This should be on your iPod! Generic Fighter reccomends this Podcast highly!

Listening to you guys play gets me laughing non-stop. What is puppy? Miles Tone, an alcoholic Dwarf, whats not to love. I keep waiting each week for the next episode expecting to hear "now where did the bad orc touch you?" Keep up the good work guys!

A blast to listen to
I really enjoy listening to these as background noise while i'm working. The encounters feel a little dry without being able to see the game, but the conversations between enounters are hilarious. I recommend this to anyone who has no idea what a real D&D game is like.

Funny and Educational
I like this podcast because I am new to DnD and there is a lot of explanation about the mechanics of the game mixed in with some funny banter to keep it interesting. Also the game/banter moves at a nice pace so I can put it on at work and listen to the game without feeling like I have to stay tuned in all the time.
DnD noob
Feels like I am in the same room.
Glad to find this gem of a podcast. I feel like im sitting right there watching the session. The fact that you have noob players rolling with some vets makes for some interesting role playing. Work on getting the audio right and this will be gold. Do you guys video the session at all? Everyone sounds so animated I think I would get a kick out of watching this session as well.
