I love this podcast. Lori, I hope you have time to share your knowledge and insight! The audio is kinda quiet. I had to turn up the volume all the way and hold my speaker close. It was worth it.

Love how Lori keeps me interested, when I’m reading the Book of Mormon, here words echo in my thoughts.

Such a great podcast. I’ve learned so much. She offers a great perspective on the New Testament and Old Testament times which usually goes way over my head.

This podcast is better than most! It is better than chocolate cake, birthday parties, and most commentaries. She is able to help us understand WHY the scriptures matter in a way that helps me not only understand the context but understand why it matters. This is like nothing you have heard before! Thank heavens for a woman who teaches us to be scriptorian a!

Lori is incredible at being comfortable, helping us that aren’t equipped with a theological background feel like a friend sitting at the table with her, reading the scriptures together. BRAVA!!!

Especially grateful for the last episode! After reading and if available I will try to view the amazing videos the church offers. Sometimes I am kind of close but most frequently not sure I am on the same scripture. My minds eye pictures it so differently when reading. It lets me know that we are all on different levels, but that’s OK to set on the bench and know I don’t have to be point guard. Thanks

This is a brand new way for really studying the scriptures. I love that it’s current with the Come Follow Me program. After I read, I find Lori shines light on all the things I missed. Her contextual history makes the scriptures relevant to my world. As I listened about Lydia, (in Acts) I never realized the value of this “guided” open book quiz. Wow. Thanks for your this bigger perspective, continuity and fun.
