Teflon. It makes my eggs slide off the pan onto my plate. But what is it all about? How is it invented? What was its first use? Why is it so non-stick? If it's non-stick, how do they make it stick to a frying pan? Why are there concerns about cooking with it? How is that addressed? Are their alternatives? Well, I went a tad deep into this one.
