Continuing the series on Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANTs), today I cover "If Only" and "Ill Be Happy When" ANTs.
As a teenager and young adult I have a lot of these ANTs on my brain. These thoughts look like... If only I wasn't broken. If only my trauma did not happen. Ill be happier when I own a house. I'll be happier when I am thinner.
As I got older this daydreaming would waste my life.
And Gratitude kills them.
