As I prepare for a trip, I ran into a familiar anxiety about all the stuff that needs to be done; that I froze for several hours.
Here is what I do to attempt to break the freeze pattern. I have to give myself a self compassion break. The script I used here is a standard script you can find if you google self compassion break.
These are the statements I use during one of these breaks.
May I give myself the compassion that I need.
May I accept my self as I am.
May I learn to accept myself ask I am.
May I forgive myself.
May I be strong.
May I be patient.
