This podcast has truly changed my life. It challenges the status quo and invites you to examine what you’ve always been told, especially how those beliefs impact your emotional and spiritual health. After sharing it with family and friends, I’ve seen how deeply it resonates with others as well. Some episodes have completely shifted my outlook on faith and helped release the constant pressure of always trying to make the “right” choice. Instead of fear, this podcast has brought peace, clarity, and a deeper understanding of the Bible through the lens of Jesus. I’m incredibly grateful for it.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the impact you have had on my life. The way you both lead with honesty, humility, and vulnerability has been incredibly meaningful to me. So often leadership can feel distant, but you have allowed people to see behind the face of pastoring. Your willingness to share your own struggles and walk openly in them creates a sense of safety that is truly rare. It makes people feel comfortable, seen, and understood. I may not be sure what I believe anymore all while leaving the church physical building but I do still listen to the podcasts and read your socials, but I do know this: through your examples, you have helped me grow in loving people I have a hard time loving. That alone has made a lasting difference in my life. When leaders are open about their own humanity, it reminds the rest of us that we are not alone in our struggles, and it creates space for real growth and compassion. Thank you for being faithful to who you are and for leading with authenticity and courage. Your impact reaches farther than you may ever realize.

My family has been so blessed by this podcast. We have two teenagers and we all love listening. We homeschool and live in the Bible Belt. We have deconstructed a lot of the ideas that we were taught within the evangelical church system and now we often view things differently than many of the other homeschool families we encounter. This podcast has been an excellent way to listen and remember why as a family we are constantly learning and re-evaluating our beliefs and understanding of God and the Bible. It has also been an excellent tool for our kids to send to friends and classmates so they can have a deeper understanding of where they are coming from during theological discussions that tend to come up regularly during some of their classes. We have learned a lot from 2 Pastors and a Mic and the hosts have encouraged us to dig deeper and continue learning!

Oh my goodness. I just started listening to this podcast about a week ago and am absolutely devouring it. This is the good news! Thank you for being bold enough to speak Truth and shatter so many sacred cows! These teachings will set the listeners free in so many ways. God is good, so very very good.

I love this show so much. Especially having a show from where I live. I’ve been listening since (almost) the beginning. I used to listen on my morning commute and now I listen every week on stroller walks with my baby girl. You guys are so authentic and well spoken. Thank you for not being afraid to talk about sensitive topics and by that, you’ve helped me work through issues I’ve had as a Christian. And thank you for calling out all too common, harmful behaviors that Christians have that are so detrimental to bringing others to Jesus (some that I’m guilty of myself and some I didn’t even know I had). You guys promote such a healthy, positive relationship with Jesus and others based on LOVE. The two greatest commandments. I love sharing the podcast with others. Thank you! Keep it up :)

I enjoy the honesty and wisdom, but listen regularly in my car for the wit and humor. It's so healthy to hear you normalize growth and healing as we open our minds and hearts to all God has made us to be. You help me remember who I am almost daily, so I can create spaces around me that look more like heaven.

Where do I start? My brother introduced me to you about a month ago and my mind is blown! I grew up Amish till I was 13 then my family left and joined the Mennonite church , both very legalistic! I live in northern IN. Some of my favorite episodes are sin nature, you’re not broken, what Christians should quit saying, the rapture, who the devil is and many others! But I really really appreciate the one on race. My husband is black and he feels all that you spoke on and I love that 2 white pastors take the time to discuss this issue. Also , you speak of so much grace and freedom! I was always taught in a way that caused fear, revelation has always been fear inducing. I could say so much but thank you thank you thank you for speaking truth to power!

I love how you all address the hard questions that many church people look at you like you’re struggling with your faith for asking. I also like how you all don’t force your view and are honest enough to admit when you don’t know. I admire your courage to be vulnerable and honest with things of your past and even present. I’m inspired by you both and the great guest that speak occasionally.

I’ve only listened to a few episodes, but what I’ve heard is great! It’s been helpful on my reconstruction journey. Practical, challenging, and encouraging.

My pastor turned me on to this podcast. I am very early in my journey to the truth. You have already given me insights that have blown my mind. Especially what happened at the cross. Love their perspective and wisdom. Normal guys who are open to admit times they come up short- something I want to grow. I have seen their heart for serving others in the community.

I was introduced to Hill City and this podcast only about a month and a half ago. This point in my life has been quite stressful in all facets. These episodes have so much wisdom and encouragement that have helped me push through. In the short time I have known about this podcast, I have already almost completely caught up on all 158 episodes (as of today).

I have been attending Hill City for about 8 or so years now and I was incredibly excited to hear that Cory and Channock were starting a podcast. These episodes help me so much to digest different topics and give me insight to research further if I need to. I am a very curious person and this podcast has allowed me to answer questions and ask even more. Thank you Cory and Channock for creating content that can teach so much while encouraging curiosity!

These guys are refreshing, they make me curious about old doctrines that I have been taught, and believed for many years. I like the challenge that they throw down to really take stock in how you “think” God views you, how God actually loves you, how you love yourself and others. Their discussions give me hope that the body of Christ is learning to view God holistically. I’m still learning and unlearning but I’m here for it with these guys😀

I appreciate Cory's authenticity, passion, and process. Channock speaks from the heart. This humanistic discussion on Christian spirituality is refreshing in a world dominated by dogmatic views of our relationship with god.

I’ve been deconstructing my faith for the past year or so now. I often thought I was alone in the things I believed and what god revealed to me. It’s so encouraging to receive confirmation and affirmation on the things Cory and Channock teach. These guys are awesome and speak on so many things the church has gotten wrong or is even afraid to talk about. I plan on visiting their church soon! Thank you fellas for this podcast. Ok, so I’ve been listening off and on for a while now but decided to start from 1 and go to 100 episodes while I’m driving in the car after I saw you had hit 100. I’m on like 12 now or something and am loving every minute. You both are awesome.. I already knew that, but this all solidified it. Thank you for touching on the hard topics that you do. Thank you for spreading so much love and laughter through this podcast. I can’t wait to keep listening and always look forward to my morning commute now. Also, Channock… I am SO ticked that you had to plant trees with your senior trip money. My mouth literally dropped open. I can’t even… So sad for you! Wow. What an inspirational, freeing, and hope filled message. Not only of the Gospel of Jesus but of the transparent relatable Pastors sharing their own personal experience and growth to encourage and challenge the listener. I finally caught up and have listened to all your episodes, some more than once. Great stuff guys! My question is about prayer. Sometimes when we pray it is for selfish requests. When that prayer is answered we praise god for our prayers sent and answered. Do some people have a more Devine connection or favor with God? Does God intervene and send a buyer when you have a car for sale?

2 pastors and one mic is such a great podcast! Always get something good from it and they are just 2 super down to earth guys. Definitely would encourage anyone to listen!

If you don’t know these 2, then you should listen. They’ll connect with you, relate to you, and inspire you. If you know these 2, then you’ll appreciate how they convey real life ‘outside the church’. It is very rare that pastors allow themselves to become vulnerable by being ‘human’, especially publically. It’s only through being real, that you have true impact. These 2 are real, inspirational and are going to impact you positively. Jesus did that. He was real, accepted others, was vulnerable, and made His impact. Put in your earbuds. Listen. Be encouraged.

This podcast is everything I love about podcasts. It’s conversational and authentic — not preachy and elitist. It challenges you and forces me to rethink without dictating how I should feel or process. It’s fun to listen to and I always feel encouraged and challenged after I listen. Should you subscribe? Absolutely.

Wanted to answer the question ! I would go back to the day my dad passed just to feel his heartbeat again ! Also love the podcast as Cory knows I talk about it to much 😂 I consistently share deconstructing women in ministry !

This has helped me see some scripture in a different way, and they leave it in a way you have room to test and grow your faith with everyday life. It’s refreshing to hear their authenticity, and see that they live with grace, kindness, and love.

I went through a loss that pushed me to do some serious soul searching and I am working on both mental and spiritual growth. This pod cast really spoke to me and encouraged me to stay on course. Sometimes it is hard for young Christians to get a message that they can fully relate to but this pod cast nails it! Love it.

I love listening to these guys. They’re so candid about their experiences with faith but leave room for you to work out where you are at your own pace. They’re very encouraging!

This show is my jam!!! The only thing wrong I would say is like a good tv show I have to wait weekly for the next episode!!!

My wife and I began listening to this podcast a few months ago and got hooked! I’ve always appreciated pastors that are willing to be honest and talk about the questions many are afraid to even entertain. These guys answer difficult questions in a way that anybody could understand. They also leave us with practical ways to put the knowledge shared into action(wisdom). For anyone struggling with questions of the faith and looking for a fresh perspective, this is the place! For anyone simply looking to grow and hear a fresh take on various Christian subjects, this is the place!

My husband and I recently learned all of this earlier this year and our hearts broke for believers who have been unknowingly participating in festivities that are highly rooted in Paganism. The word says to not to learn the way of the other nations, to not participate in the ways of darkness nor delight in them…? Everyone has to decide for themselves and their families. However, as you weigh your decision I pray that there are some who listened that heard the truth in this message, the truth being that these holidays we celebrate as believers were never for us. I think that is pretty clear. We are called to be set-apart and holy, not to walk in darkness but to expose darkness…and flee from it. If you listened to this and were bothered or felt uncomfortable by what you heard… good. The Holy Spirit is moving in you, cling to that. Do your own research. Since no scriptures were mentioned in this podcast, please spend some time reading these and always Test everything you hear. I so appreciate this podcast. There is a lot of noise and misinformation out there today and it can be hard to find your spiritual footing. These episodes have helped me gain context and perspective around difficult questions about our faith. They have also given me permission to let my faith evolve beyond the “commandments” of scripture and into more of a relationship with God.

Love this podcast. It is a refreshing listen every time while also being specifically challenging to my journey through life as i follow Jesus. I recommend this podcast to any person, whether you’re all in on Jesus or not.
