I might be biased, since I may or may not be one of the hosts of this show, but I’ve learned so much more about comic books as a result of this show than I ever expected. I grew up on DC Comics, but through this show I’ve learned so much about Marvel, it’s amazing! And I will be forever changed from my introduction to the Indie Comic Book scene. I really hope that if you’ve listened to this show that you have enjoyed it, because I really enjoy it from my end!! The beards these two men wield are among the best in the podcast scene. For that alone you should give them a listen. Beards aside, however, Alex and Drew are very easy to listen to; their calm demeanors paired with an intangible ability to connect the listener to the art and words of the comic are unparalleled. This podcast is a great entry point for someone (like me) who is heavily invested in the MCU but has little to no knowledge of the actual comic books.

Just found you on YouTube which led me to your podcasts and you guys drop some great and up to date content! First comic book podcasts I have listened to and they are amazing keep up the great work guys.

If you love listening to fans do deep dives then subscribe. These two breakdown every part of a comic from the writer to the letterer. As they go over each issue they give you background information and details of the pages that flows well enough so you as a listener can flip through your personal issues and keep up with them.

While admittedly not a comic book reader, I love these podcasts! Thanks for enhancing my Marvel & DC movie experiences with your knowledge (& comedy)!

Highly recommend this podcast for anyone who is into Comics or is looking to get into comics, The podcast is very entertaining while sticking to the subject of Comics!

I am a huge MCU fan, but haven't done much reading of actual comics. I have been looking for a good gateway into it, but it seems like a such a vast universe it's difficult to get started. Listening to the first few episodes has helped me find a way to get into the comic book world. Great listen!

Drew & Alex do a great job with this podcast. They do a great job with letting you know on social media what the upcoming episode topic(s) will be, so that you can read specific issues, whether it’s new to you or a refresher, to make sure that you have the opportunity to be on the same page(no pun intended). Even if you haven’t read specifics, the content still gets you interested in the storyline that is being discussed. I’ll give an edited review, once I see Brightburn, because I’m slacking.

This is a comic book podcast through and through. Which is fine by me. Perfect to listen to at work on a speaker or on headphones. This is now on my daily/weekly rotation.
