Josh and Corey are great. Joe isn’t my cup of tea to say the least.

Would easily be 5 stars if Bartnick wasn’t so brutal. Week after week he proves himself to be an absolute donkey. If only Pittsburgh had a team that tries to make the playoffs only to get immediately bounced every year…

Very obvious it’s early in the evolution of this pod, so there’s going to be room for improvement. The hosting needs to be sharper with smoother transitions and teeing up topics for the panel. Joe (poor man’s Marc Maron) is problematic. He’s trying to do his best mark madden impression, which doesn’t work, and making uninformed comments. I don’t think calling an organization woke for hiring a female assistant coach (check her resume, it’s similar to male hockey coaches) while suggesting Boudreau to get another head coaching job is a hill to die on. Neither is saying Kucherov should be on the NHLs top 100 players of all time, when he hadn’t had a season over a point per game at the release of that list (He had 85 in 74 at the end of this season). McDavid ain’t even on the list, chief. Here for Yohe. But maybe pushing back a bit and not being so agreeable would help the quality and lessen the rants. And for the love of God get the basics down and stop muting yourselves all the time!

I like Josh Yohe and Cory Tucek and they know there stuff when it comes to all things Pittsburgh Penguins and the NHL, but jeez is Joe Bartnick awful. He provides very ignorant takes about hockey, has a grating voice and is always putting down certain teams based on their market size or whatever or not their Canadian. I’m sorry but I don’t listening to a podcast clearly designed for the average bro and knuckle dragger very compelling audio. Not worth the listen.

I really liked this podcast and enjoy listening to it every week. I love the hockey talk, but I was so disappointed to hear Joe go on about Seattle being woke because they have a female coach and how they sacrificed winning for being woke. I just don’t really appreciate that sentiment as a female fan. I don’t consider myself a woke person and I get that you wanna put your best team forward, but that comment was just so unnecessary and has soured me on the pod as a whole.

How good is “2 For Talking?” I don’t like the Penguins much, pretty indifferent to them, maybe dislike a little bit. I haven’t watched NFL in 10 years, don’t care for the Steelers. Pirates and the rest of MLB are irrelevant to me. And I LOVE “2 For Talking.” It’s that good.
