I love the show. The David Crane (Boy and his Blob episode) interview was amazing).

Great job! Itβs time to go back to the ...
Just discovered your show and I love it. Canβt get enough 8-bit talk. I genuinely enjoy playing NES games in 2020 better than any other system. I hope you do Back to the Future soon. Itβs my favorite game that I can always go back to. Youβve probably never heard anyone say that about an LJN game. I have the highest score ever recorded, world record 294,740 points. Beware of the bees.

By far the Best NES retro gaming podcast
I love listening to your pod cast guys, I just recently started and you found got me from the first episode β DOUBLE DRAGONβ best way to start the madness that brought many of us 80βs babies the frustration of leaving you NES turned on over night with hopes that your parent wouldnβt see it and turn it off, or even worse leave it on to run an errand to come back home to a blinking red light from the system resetting it self.

NES classic
2 dudes and a NES mostly talks about old NES games. It is one of the best Video game podcast ever one of my favorite episodes is MARIO ducktales and the legend of Zelda. (Shout out to Nintendo cartridge society) peace out!!!

Quality game reviews and more tangents than you could ever imagine!
Hilarious podcast covering all the best the Nintendo Entertainment System has to offer with in-depth analysis and special guests galore. I can honestly say I learn something new about every game these dudes cover, and more about Cracker Barrel than I could have envisioned. Keep up the good work dudes!!!

Easy listening
About halfway through the episodes, and most of them are great. Definitely helping me relive my childhood! The dudes have also reviewed a few games I didnβt know about. Helping me bolster my nes collect. (Thank god that Mario thing died!)

Eh.
Wish the production was better. They could also actually talk about the games instead of the horrendous back and forth. I kept waiting for the eps to be over. Unfortunate as when I stumbled upon this podcast I was super excited about it, the premise is awesome, the product, not so much.

The Show For All Xennials
For those of us born in the 1980βs this show will conjure memories of sitting around with your best buds and shooting the breeze about your favorite game to love (or hate) from the console that set the bar for us in terms of what video gaming was meant to be. Add in an appropriate amount of βtangentsβ that at the same time trigger memories that so many of us share in common, and you have the amazing podcast experience that is called 2 Dudes and a NES.

I love tangents!
Hello from North West Alabama! Great podcast! Don't feel bad about that person bashing you for tangents! The tangents are the best part of the podcast to me! lol Listening to this is like talking about the good ol' games with friends. I dig it!

Great Show!
A really fun, super chill show usually involving 2 dudes (sometimes more, rarely less) talking about NES games. In addition to the show, this podcast has launched a fantastic fan community.

Fun, but too much small talk
Generally I like the show, and of course the content is great. But these guys are way too laid-back, they go off into La La Land way way too much. Itβs one thing to go off topic, but when itβs like more than half of the show, it puts me to sleep, and I tend to lose focus on whatβs being said. The biggest violation, was the fact that these clowns decided to βwing itβ on the Castlevania episode. How can you do a Nintendo show, and not even take Castlevania slightly seriously? Ouch. And if you didnβt play one of the most Iconic games in the history of the system when you βwere a kidβ what the hell are you doing a show for?

Dudes, a NES and You!
Join Justin and Michael on a trip down memory lane. This show covers the breadth of the NES library one game at a t time. Each episode delves deep into a new game and the hosts do a wonderful job in their coverage. Be prepared to relive the games you loved as a child or even discover hidden *GEMS* you may never have heard of. The dudes are likeable, intelligent, family friendly and entertaining but their pronunciation is not always up to snuff. Give them a listen today, you wonβt be disappointed.

Great show.
This is my first time writing a review but wanted to give the two dudes some love. I started with the Intellivisionaries (my first console)and then the Atari 2600 Game by Game podcast and now found the two dudes. I was hooked the minute I Heard Mario make his appearance. The NES was my second console and the memories Justin share really brings me back. I found the podcast a few months ago and I started from episode one and I'm up to super dodgeball. I've been playing along with most of the games and I really enjoy the sense of humor both these guys bring. Mike and Justin have a great friendship and it makes me want to get together with my buddy and play NES Great job all around. Thanks Guys!

My Favorite Podcast
I recently dug out the old NES and dusted it off. I decided to make collecting all things NES my new hobby. With so many games out there where should you start...This Podcast! With so many previous episodes and new episodes coming out they make it easy to fall in love with games I didn't even know
existed. I'm a huge fan of the 2 Dudes and am very appreciative of the show.
TheChicagoKid99
totally in sync!
these dudes know their stuff, great chemistry and great content. between the cats, kids and trains theres alot of good nes knowledge to be had, and now that they live closer you can hear the train start on one end and by the end of the show its reached the other totally in sync!

Too quiet!

Dudes R Crushin It!
I came across this podcast when searching for NES specific gaming podcasts. I'm glad I caught this late as I have many shows to listen to and catch up on! This podcast is somewhat like VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show" where Eddie Trunk and 2 of his friends just talk about the hard rock/heavy metal music they like and do reviews and interviews etc...2 Dudes and a NES does the same with focusing on 1 specific game per episode. They go through how they found the game, the manuals, game play, the game music (which they have playing in the background for the entire show, which I love), and retro game trophies. I love listening to it while at work - a lot of shows bring back great memories of the games. Also, They've inspired me to start collecting NES games - StarTropics is going to be a purchase soon! I can't wait to hear their take on Legend of Zelda and Super Mario 3! Thanks for a great show Dudes! Keep it up! Pete

Dudes!
I love this podcast. The two dudes play well off of each other and are well informed of the games they are covering. They just need to bring back Mario and Iβd give them a 6 star ratingβ¦ Theyβd be well off to get a nice cheap sound studio at the Dollar General, but hey, we all can dream.
The Surfin Dead
Great content; bad audio
I'd be a regular subscriber as soon as one of the hosts gets a dedicated recording room. His wife and kids yelling in the background is extremely distracting.

Reigniting my spark
I have finally finished listening to all of your episodes. I really enjoy listening to the show. After listening to the Wizards and Warriors show, I was inspired to start recording LP's on YouTube again (Wizards and Warriors was a game I had planned on doing a couple years ago). It also reignited my urges to start collecting NES games again (which earlier in my life I was hoping to collect them all) and I have decided to attempt to LP my entire NES library (which will hopefully continue to grow). Thank you for making such an awesome podcast and being such an inspiration. The only bad thing I can say about it is now that I am caught up I can't listen to them back to back and must wait for a new one to come out.

Crazy Dudes!
The moment these dudesβ vocal chords flew into my eardrums, I knew there would be a phycodelic chemistry between us. Their sass and pep about all things NESy makes my brain pop and sing jazz music like I'm Spiderman on a black goo trip. There is no place like home, and home isn't home to me without this podcast's heavenly tune gliding through the speakers when I'm lying on the bearskin rug of freedom. I love these guys more than they can fathom. So if you want the meaning of life spoken with a true NES twist, look no further. It's here.

Best podcast
I just found out about the podcast and the Facebook group this month, and I'm hooked. I listened to all the episodes at work to get me through the day.
I like that you can tell they enjoy making the podcast and they interact with the listeners on the Facebook group.
I like how they even try to find the positive, even in some bad games (LJN), and that they don't rate the games like all the other review shows. Keep up the great job and I'll keep listening.

Great podcast. Good people fun group
I've been listening since day 1. The guys do a great job breaking each game down. They have had a lot of awesome guests on the show and I'm always looking forward to the next episode. I've even made a few friends along the way. Thanks guys keep up the great work!!

Old games
I love hearing about them. These podders love nostalgia as much as I do and it really brings me back to not having any worries except for protecting my Zelda saves.

Great show, fun and exciting
As someone who grew up playing all of these games, this show opened up a lot of nostalgic memories of playing NES games with my brother. Good chemistry and rapport between the hosts.

LOVE THIS!
Listened to my first couple of episodes today and this show is so great! I'm not a huge gamer, but the original NES is by far my favorite system and these dudes bring back awesome memories of me spending afternoons with games like Double Dragon and Pro Wrestling. Plus, Michael & Justin are really funny, magnetic dudes who make you feel like you're the third person in their room while they play it up.

Nostalgic!
This podcast was just what I was looking for. The 2 Dudes do a great job discussing and explaining each game. I've been collecting NES games for about 2 years and after listening to the 2 Dudes I have started to look for games I otherwise knew nothing about.

One of the best retro podcasts out there.
The 2 dudes make going back to the land of Nintendo an entertaining trip. Seriously, this is one of the best podcasts out there. Whether you are driving, at work or taking a Carl, the 2 dudes help "pass" the time, it's a blast!

Great podcast for NES fans
If you enjoyed all those hours you spent on the couch or the floor playing games like Final Fantasy and Super Mario Brothers, you'll have a great time listening to these dudes. They also have some interesting interviews.

I like it
2 dudes and a nes and TADPOG are the best retro gaming podcasts. As the lord of darkness, I'd prefer it be less clean.
