After working like the clappers at our local nursery  for several months we were finally accepted onto our Adoption programme. Holding our noses we took a deep dive of medicals, form filling and the worlds most in depth questionnaire culminating in  a three day training course where we met fellow adopters, learnt a great deal and Jack had a near death experience. All in all, quite a full on experience! 

 How many trips to the loo does it take before you're convinced your social worker is happy in your home?    After a hiatus, Jack and Wes are back as they recount their adoption journey. In this episode they meet their first social worker and give them a tour of their home but is it a dreamy Victorian cottage or a baby death trap? Plus they discuss their experience of volunteering, is it a waste of time or a life defining experience? Jack and Wes continue with their adoption journey. After disregarding Jack's Mother's attempts to source a surrogate, they plunged headfirst into the trials and tribulations of finding an adoption agency. Should they go for local authority or voluntary? Is there a difference? In this episode they discuss their thought processes and insights and Jack discovers the joys of the music effects button on his mixer...
