Overall the breakdown of each of the games every week is a great concept and good for someone like me who can’t watch them all. But the bad is that Pony is so insufferable to listen to. It is grating to hear his (wrong) takes. Miss Danny. Patrick is great. There is a reason why Pony isn’t going on to bigger/better things.

Loved the podcast with Danny. I’m sure pat pete is a great person but he is not cut out for this. I stuck around for as long as I could but dropped the show as it is almost unlistenable

Spent more time on hypothetical matchups instead of breaking down real wild-card matchups. During the season claim to cover every game every week, but always get to the end and it’s “do you have anything on these last few terrible games?” “No, see you next week.”

This was one of my favorite pods when it was Danny and Poni. It’s a tough listen now. I’ve tried to stick with it, but Patrick Peterson has really drug it down. A case of a great footballer not being cut out for the radio/podcast gig. Any of the guests they previously had on would have been a better Danny replacement. I really miss the energy, chemistry, and banter from the original pair.

How can you take the show seriously if the promo ads talk about Michael Jordan running on to the field. I have to turn it off every time I hear it coming on. I will give them a slim benefit of the doubt that he was talking about someone else and it was just a butcher job by the producers. Either way tough time taking it seriously

I loved listening to Danny Parkins when he was in KC so was psyched to discover this podcast. They do a great job of covering the entire NFL throughout the year. Immediately goes to the top of my queue anytime there's a new episode.

Was told about this pod from a friend. Loved the in season breakdowns each week about each team even though mine stinks. But, now that we’re in the offseason I’ve had a hard time listening. 4 straight podcasts about the trade market for the 23rd best QB (Fields) in the NFL? It’s become a Bears and Steelers podcast essentially.

Listen to this before anything else. It’s the perfect summary of everything relevant in football. They offer just the right amount of “take” and angle to each game. After listening I feel as invested in these games and storylines as they do.

Just guys being dudes. Love these guys. If they have a new episode - I listen to it first. Keep doing what you’re doing - don’t take yourselves to seriously. Best, T-bone

Great podcast. Simple as that

Easy listen with what seems like two old friends choppin it up. Entertaining and good knowledge on all NFL games. An added plus is that Danny’s partner holds up to him like not many can.

This podcast is the first one I listen to the morning it drops. I thoroughly enjoy Parkin’s and Poni’s unapologetic fandom and unique viewpoints. Their personalities and obvious friendship is part of what makes this pod so enjoyable. They are the antidote to mainstream media. To the listener who “wants more arguments” - go list to Good Morning Football or Jerry Springer. If I wanted to entertained by ranting and hot takes I’d choose a different show. I love that I actually learn a lot from every episode of First & Pod, and appreciate the intelligent analysis. (Side note: would love if you guys would provide a 2-second explanation when referencing game events from more than a season ago, for us newbie fans. e.g. this morning’s show references what happened to Lamar Jackson the last game of the 2019 season. Eventually I figured (based on context) that he had gotten injured but sometimes it is more difficult to follow the point you’re making). All-in-all this is a fun, unique, entertaining, and informative show. Don’t manufacture arguments, the organic unscripted nature of the discussion and arguments that do arise is one of the best attributes.

I do just love all the ammunition Parkins provides. I jest so 5 stars.

I love Danny and Andrew the podcast is hilarious and grounded in something called football. I've been listining since it launched most weeks. It's the only podcast I listen to but I love this thing.

I haven’t listened long but stopped when I heard Matt LaFleur is a great coach.

These two obviously have great chemistry with the consistent banter. As a fan of Parko (670) it is refreshing to hear the perspective from an AFC guy (Andrew).

Amazing fix for your football needs in offseason and to keep you up at to date during the season. Fantastic conversations and debate. Compliment me each other extremely well, much listen every week!

These college buddies doing very well on their own in the Chicago and Pittsburg sports talk radio markets. Great chemistry and excellent thought experiments, predictions, debates, and opinions. Throughly enjoy listening to them and encourage anyone to give these guys a try.

This pod is great. I’m so glad to hear him without Spiegel.

But is poni not recording locally? Sounds like cutting out with spotty internet. Other issue is that both the full episode AND the individual segments are showing up as different episodes on Apple podcasts. Not sure what’s going on with that. Again, great content, just gotta smooth out some technical stuff here in your first few episodes.

Love the content. My boy Parkins is always a must listen. But come on, two well established radio hosts can’t get above average sound quality on their podcast?

I already listened to Danny daily. But more relaxed Danny is even better - and he is talking to some just as passionate as he is and it makes for good listening

Great overall podcast, can’t have sports talk without some wild takes. The banter is fun, and both hosts feel very knowledgeable in their talking points. I would love it if Pony wouldn’t interrupt when Danny is trying to give his take. It happens to often in both the podcast episodes I have listened too. Other than that, fantastic from both of them. Encourage anyone out there to give it a listen.
