Conspiracy: True or False
20 minutes Posted Oct 21, 2020 at 6:17 am.
-5: “Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Genesis
Lying is not new. We can go back to the beginning of time and see some of the very first mistakes made were lies. Today, people are wondering who to trust and have a lack of confidence in people actually telling the truth. We live in an era where people are no longer afraid to distort the truth for their own gain. 1826 Leader, Joe Ross, asks a series of "True or False" questions that are sure to make you think.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
What was your favorite part about “conspiracy” over the past few weeks?
Do you think the people of today are more inclined to telling the truth or distorting it?
When you speak to people you disagree with - do you think you approach them informationally or relationally?
What does it mean to be created in the image and likeness of God?
What do you think your identity is found in?
